What makes rune factory 4 special are the dialogue. It is like you can feel each one. All characters have personality. And you are so curious as to what their thoughts are. Truly a masterpiece. Hope they continue this in rune factory 5

Compared to the other proposal events, Dylas got the most bland of them all. The other bachelors expanded their back story during their events, but Dylas only got a short time to explain his, almost like a non-obligatory bonus. However, he's still my favorite one among all the other bachelors, dunno why, I just find him the most endearing and sweet, regardless of his cold personality at first because, to be honest, I would react the same way as him if I had lost my memory all of the sudden, plus being sorrounded by new people can be very stressing. I love him a lot, and I'm happy I made my first family with him, he's such a good dad
The other day, when I got his proposal event, my plan was to say no to his proposal event at first and then give him an engagement ring after, just to see some other possible dialogue. (I'd already married him on another file that was MANY years old, so it'd been a while) But when I actually went through the whole event, holy shit, I physically could NOT say no in that moment. I was just like "If I say no to this dude's face I am gonna feel like the _actual_ devil." I've NEVER had a fictional character affect me this badly! Extra dialogue be damned, I just said yes and went with it. It's better this way XD

Although most comments are old, I'd like to put here that to activate the proposal you only need about 3-5 dates, and then hope that the RNG is nice to you otherwise you can exploit making sure there are no town events, save with Dylas or whoever in your party and the next day talk to EVERYONE in town, check your diary and if there's a town event scheduled that day restart but don't save. Also the prelude to this is Dylas' Smile Practice. You have to do that or you can't marry him. Also make sure to at least start arc 2
I got this the other day on my first play through and when we fought I felt my whole body shatter and I was actually crying! Then he took me to porcos and I laughed when he said ooh la la 😂 then I opened my eyes and saw the food and his face and I was like YAS!!! Then he proposes and I was screaming and saying yes 😂 then everyone came out and volkanon made me laugh so hard I cried even more 😭 then we went to the lake and then he told me his story and I cried and cried and cried 😭😭😭😭😭 I wish he was real!!! I’d love him every millisecond!!! Now I’m working on another file for Leon.
I also never had to ask Dylas, or Arthur, even Vishnal, that I love them or even to ask if they go out with me. I was too shy. Always nervous around them. I need serious help guys!!!
Oh, and also...I swear living in this game and having a relationship would be absolute *_HELL_* for me...I'm shy, *_WAY_* too easily embarrassed (just the thought of poking my crush/partner on the cheek would cause me to turn into a tomato), have a tendency to tear up/burst into tears when I'm embarrassed (this might be partially thanks to me being mildly autistic), and I *_CAN NOT_* take playful teasing because it makes me so embarrassed that it actually triggers my anxiety enough to have a mental breakdown once I'm behind closed doors...game--just hearing them tease me in game is enough to trigger my anxiety!

The girls' marriage events took much longer and were in greater detail than that of the guys. Though, it being their first (and most likely last) Rune Factory where you can marry a male, I guess it's just something they were not use to. On a side note, would have been absolutely HILARIOUS if you did like your Amber video and changed Frey's appearance and name to Doug's xD

Another late reply, but it has mixed reviews. I've played a little of it and if you enjoy Rune Factory games, you'll most likely enjoy RFTOD. It can just be a little clunky here and there, but otherwise the story is pretty good from what I hear and the characters are fun.
Eh, a bit of a late reply, but he does react to it! Just not much. If you say, "You're such a horse!" Dylas goes: "Urk... S-say whatever you want..." etc. He clearly becomes more uncomfortable, but he's not going to yell at you. He just takes it. ;)

Another late reply, but it has mixed reviews. I've played a little of it and if you enjoy Rune Factory games, you'll most likely enjoy RFTOD. It can just be a little clunky here and there, but otherwise the story is pretty good from what I hear and the characters are fun.

Eh, a bit of a late reply, but he does react to it! Just not much. If you say, "You're such a horse!" Dylas goes:
"Urk... S-say whatever you want..." etc. He clearly becomes more uncomfortable, but he's not going to yell at you. He just takes it. ;)
