I consider it more of an extension than a sequal, tbh. It gave us the real ending many people wanted after the gut wrenching ending of FFX. :) Had a few issues with the dev choices but overall, issues aside, it was a good game.
Top 4 for me. I'd usually say IX is my favourite but it's really close with X, VII closely follows then X-2 closely behind that. The battle system of X-2 however is my favourite of the lot, just something about it I really loved. And this particular theme is right up at my top along with Zanarkand, Melodies of Life and Dark Messenger. And yes definitely a beautiful cover, always love hearing her play it on stream.
This is one of the few good tracks. Main playable characters are few and not coherent with previous title. Story ending is redeemed, apart from that not much story or character development at all. Too many useless mini games. (Via purifico sidequest was great though.) I kinda liked the take on the job system but it was imbalanced to make a few jobs musthave. It’s a fine game but not up there with the other FF titles. My opinion and you are of course entitled to yours. Glad you enjoyed it more than I.
Definitely agree, this and Zanarkand are right among my top favourites of FF music and both games have some of the best music of the franchise. Even Real Emotion and 1000 Words from X-2 which while they aren't in the typical FF style of song I really loved as well, especially 1000 Words.
One of those most beautiful pieces in FF. You did better than the piano release by Square Enix! Song fit the vibe I felt when I was deployed and thinking of my gal back home.
I've been waiting to hear this ever since you posted the video of you listening and learning it. This is my favorite song of all time, and you've done it justice. Thank you Lara, and best of wishes as you continue your piano-ing journey o7
lmao coming back to this comment 2 years later. I still agree. This is arguably the worst piano cover of a FFX song of all time. Tempo is ALL OVER THE PLACE and the song is jumbled and out of order and just really, really bad. I can play this song with my eyes closed. But hey good job cornering the beta simp video game fan market I guess. Twitch thots gonna twitch thot literally anything they can get their hands on I guess.
Just curious why you waste your time with live streaming when you could easily get a spot in your choice of pretty much any band looking for a keyboard player and make way more money? Heck, with your talent level you could start your own even on the level if Nightwish.
Calling streaming (successfully, might I add) a waste of time is rude as hell. It can honestly be a lot more lucrative than seeing your earnings get cannibalized by manager fees & venue/touring costs. Also, in this current musical climate, talent bends over to connections & marketing (or manufactured publicity). Lara's fame is just fine. She'll grow organically, & her fans won't get tired of her like pop chart listeners.
I know. But please bear in mind it is a legitimate job & career, & should not be made little of, especially for the amount of hard work she puts in to give a good show.

I just watch you on youtube. But it feels right.
Edit: Saw a stream and it felt right, too.
hi, how long have you been playing keyboard seriously? and how much time per day did you spend to play piano? (study and fun time)
I remember leaving the title screen on for an hour at a time just to hear this song on repeat back in the day.
I did that with Kingdom Hearts 1 title menu lol
@@sparda9060 I still do this
Same :) When this song hits it hits hard.
When I first played this game I was stoned as fuck and just left Yuna standing on a beach in Besaid zoning out.
A thousand words would describe how beautiful this piece is
Believe it or not, this is actually my favourite title in the series. This and X. Beautiful cover. =)

Your channel is always a nice place to rest for a weary traveler
Between this and to zanarkand ffx/x-2 has some of the best ff music of any of the series.

So much love for that game and that music... thank you, Lara.

Transported be back to high school where I had no worries, no bills, no job, no cares for 3 minutes...
This is a very Final Fantasy day today.

Обожаю её ))
👍👍👍
You look very emotional at the end
To be Honest I listen to this on a basis. I wish i had your skills…..
Metroid 😊😊😊
Lol it sounds just like the game
T
she misses a note..
Nah, not really
Too fast. No passion. Slow down and appreciate the song. You're doing it all wrong.
She misses the ending of the bridge every time too and goes right back to the main melody. Like no, finish the bridge!

Cheapskate Coins I don’t want to be in a band/in a supporting role. I want to run my own show. I’m done playing second fiddle to singers.

@@Rixstarian it was meant as a complement saying she could be playing sold out shows, even as a solo act. Nothing negative was intended.

@@Rixstarian Oh I know, I'm a live streamer as well, though in my case I teach about and sell collectible coins.
