Viable Engravings -
-Class - whichever works better - accesories with desired stats free. Crit is also almost free because of Preemeptive Strike, then you go for as much Swift as it gets to make runs smooth
-Preemeptive Strike - obvious pick, only caveat is if you dont oneshot mob with first hit next one is almost white guaranteed with low crit
-Contender - free 17,5% Attack Power
-Cursed Doll - free 16% AP
Negligibly conditional
-Raid Captain - free 15+% dmg if running high swift and mixing it up with attack speed buffs from dungeon, skills, Dominion Set
-Mass Increase - free 18% AP, -10% AS is negligible with high swift, sometimes its even helpful to prolong some skills casts
Viable on some classes
Hit Master - 16% DMG for non-positional skills
Stabilized Status - 16% DMG if running with 80%+ HP
Barricade - 16% dmg while shielded
Master's Tenacity - 16% DMG for Mayhem Zerks
If at this point you haven't found engravings for you then you slap Keen Blunt Weapon (scales poorly with Preemptive Strike and if you run low crit, which is a way to go, does nothing to white hits) and as last resort Adrenaline or some niche like All-out Attack or Super Charge
Avoid - Grudge, Precise Dagger, Ambush Master, Master Brawler,
Viable Gear Sets - depending on class and main stats your typical options are 6-Dominion, 6-Betrayal, Mix of 2-Dominion+4-Betrayal, in some cases there is a use for Nightmare Set. Hallucination and Salvation are in most cases worse options. Avoid Entropy and Yearning.

Or for faster chaos, use full swiftness accessories, with dominion set.
Did this the very same day we got engraving support. That said most of my classes were already fast at clearing chaos so it made basically no difference 😂 (Aeromancer, Summoner, Soul Eater) I was already killinh everything with preemptive + 1 or 2 other engravings in my chaos set-up.
For previously abandoned characters/lopang slaves is really good though.
Keen blunt is much much worse than CD/MI because damage is additive with preemptive strike. So instead of KBW, go CD/MI/Stabilized Status or simply add spirit absorption if your class is slow.
No point in SA the wind bubbles on the field give max move speed so RC would be a better choice for chaos
@@SpryoRuLes RC is core part of the build with Preemptive/Cotender/RC/Class, reason I like spirit on some classes is because of attack speed not move speed. Smoother and shorter animations on a gunslinger go a long way.

Keen Blunt is additive to Preemptive strike the same way Cursed doll is additive to contender. The dmg increase of both is similar, but CD doesnt have the -20% dmg rng proc which can make kbw feel inconsistent sometimes.
Yeah, I've been enjoying the fact I can set up chaos builds for classes who don't exactly clear chaos comfortably fast. Having the option to just look for high quality accessories to swap stats fairly easily for chaos is also nice too. It's just such a great change for alts.
