I truly think you would like all the songs from this album. Family Madrigal, Waiting on a Miracle, Dos Oruguitas are all amazing! I especially think you would like What Else Can I Do because of the instruments used🎸 😏
Omg I've never noticed the whispered "pressure" in the background, makes it even more special, love the reaction, sending lots of love and good vibes ✨💕
In the break with the clouds, as she's singing, "This growing pressure, keeps growing..." there's a background of "pressure, pressure, pressure" that gets higher and gives the feeling of building pressure. It's so dang good.
Encanto is my favourite disney movie in terms of songs. Not only are they all groovy and catchy, but the lyrics are so relatable and if you watch the movie you realise how much they add to the plot and character progression, it's insane.
The fact you got over 7:00 into the video before realizing she has super strength...how to tell a song reallllly hooked you in, you eyes just appreciate the pretty stuff 🤣
Me: *listening and getting ready to hear his reaction to the drop* Blake: *pauses the song half a beat before the drop* Me: Gaaaaaaaaah 😫 Blake: so I’m going to explain how I know there’s going to be either a big swell or a heavy drop right there. Me: well I suppose that’s acceptable…
I'd love it if you reacted to the other songs from Encanto before watching the movie (so we get totally fresh reactions rather than a review/commentary of the music). Your breakdowns of this and We Don't Talk About Bruno were so wonderful to see. It's nice seeing the background musical understanding of these tracks.
It's actually kind of refreshing hearing you breakdown the song without having the context of the movie; it gives a different perspective. I do think you will enjoy the movie whenever you get around to watching it though :) This song is important and wonderful in the movie, but out of all of them, I think this one could hold its own as a standalone song. For example, it took you most of the song to realize Luisa (the one singing) has super strength. This did not takeaway from your ability to discuss the musicality and production of the song though!
As you said, the relentless buildup can lead to going bigger or slowing down. For me, I think it continually dropped back down every time because going big is a cathartic release in a way, and Luisa is never allowed to have that here or in life. The up and down of the song just reinforces her constant daily pressure.
Dos origutos (two caterpillars) makes you cry watching it. The song is airy and so touching and completely in Spanish so you are surprised to he moved so heavily by it as an English speaker.
Thanks for this reaction! I'm from Colombia and watching you react and break down the song so deeply is amazing. I'd really love if you reacted to Dos Oruguitas, the only song that is in Spanish and was made by a Colombian artist
Would love to see more reactions to Encanto songs! Though I feel I should warn to stay away from Dos Oruguitas (it hits harder with the visuals) and All of You, mostly because those two spoil really important things in the movie, could be better to react to those as you watch the movie than watch them separated, but it's your choice!
Yes please do the rest too, I’m sure u would enjoy them Additionally, I also want to notice newer things in the songs that I’ve maybe not caught on to yet
Yeesss please do the rest of the album! I love your reactions to these songs! I like them a lot too and it's super cool to get the details I missed out of them from your perspective!
yeah for sure you should do 'waiting on a miracle' and 'what else can I do?'. 'the family madrigal' is more of a introductory song but it has an amazing build up in the end (and it doesn't goes up or down 👀 I mean it kinda does but you'll get it when you listen to 😂
The Family Madrigal is one of the best songs in the movie in my opinion. It's the first one and gives a summary of all the characters and their special abilities.
Lin Manuel-Miranda wrote this and he's all about the pop with a good ass hook. I feel like Surface Pressure has similarities to Guns and Ships from Hamilton. That's what I thought at least. I'm not a professional but I do know pop music pretty well.
I'm pretty sure there's a drawn out rhyme with rhymes within it. So she goes "who am i if i can't run with the ball, if i fall to" and then later when they're hanging "who am i if i can't carry it all(ball), if i fal-ter(fall to)"
I was listening to this song the other day and genuinely thought I heard an airy 'Pressure' throughout it's play! I put my speaker to my ear and was like...'Wow, that's cool!' 🤣🤣🤣
i really want to see you react to hamilton (soundtrack or movie). it might be too long or too different from your other reactions, but i love the songwriting and the entire musical in general.
It is pop, mixed with musical theatre but reggaeton is in there too. And if you think these two songs are good, watch the movie and listen to Dos Oruguitas. It's my favorite song from the soundtrack.
You should check out arcane enemy. Also idk if you’ve ever dove into the world of league of legend songs but as a producer you’d love em. They also have nice cinematics for the audience.
That pressure like a drip drip caught me so of guard when I first heared it it was such an amazing feeling idk how to describe it.
I truly think you would like all the songs from this album. Family Madrigal, Waiting on a Miracle, Dos Oruguitas are all amazing! I especially think you would like What Else Can I Do because of the instruments used🎸 😏
@roberta honestly all of them have more meaning in the context of the film but especially that one
DOS ORUGUITAS YES!!
Si si.
Omg I've never noticed the whispered "pressure" in the background, makes it even more special, love the reaction, sending lots of love and good vibes ✨💕
I didn't hear it watching the movie, but just now could hear it from the speakers in my car. Such a nice touch!
In the break with the clouds, as she's singing, "This growing pressure, keeps growing..." there's a background of "pressure, pressure, pressure" that gets higher and gives the feeling of building pressure. It's so dang good.
Yo, I've listened to this so many times and this is literally the first time I'm hearing it too 💀
Ah you’re right
Encanto is my favourite disney movie in terms of songs. Not only are they all groovy and catchy, but the lyrics are so relatable and if you watch the movie you realise how much they add to the plot and character progression, it's insane.
EXACTLY!!! they’re all so good!!
Say what you will about Lin-Manuel Miranda, but he knows how to use music to progress a story like practically no one else.
@@mmbluemeanie true!!!
The fact you got over 7:00 into the video before realizing she has super strength...how to tell a song reallllly hooked you in, you eyes just appreciate the pretty stuff 🤣
I thought he would mention the donkeys dance
Blake: So for bridges...
Me and also everyone else: Taylor Swift.
You should check out Jessica Darrow's jazz cover of Surface Pressure. She's the actress who did the song in Encanto.
Ohhhh I listened to that. She's gorgeous and that cover was amazing imo
Yesss! I was amazed if how good it sound d in a different genre!! Her voice sounds different but very good too!
The journey your face went on when that first "drip drip drip" dropped was fantastic.
Your reaction to the first hook… priceless
Whenever you feel fine and wanted to do some new reactions do check out tick tick boom. It's Lin Manuel's work at his best ❤️
to be clear he directed it!! Jonathan Larson gets all writing credit
@@sabahk oh yeah! Just appreciating his direction and recreation with Andrew's singing. It definitely is Jonathan Larson's magic musically.
@@anuradatikulshrestha3809 for sure. especially for a first time director he did so well
Omg yes! My favourites are Therapy and Louder than Words
Another song from this movie that’s absolutely amazing is ‘What Else Can I Do?’, it’s so good!
"Brain. ADD. Where am I?" ***proceeds***
That is so stinkin' relatable.
Me: *listening and getting ready to hear his reaction to the drop*
Blake: *pauses the song half a beat before the drop*
Me: Gaaaaaaaaah 😫
Blake: so I’m going to explain how I know there’s going to be either a big swell or a heavy drop right there.
Me: well I suppose that’s acceptable…

As you debated if it was going to go into a high or a drop she's literally diving down 😂
As you said, the relentless buildup can lead to going bigger or slowing down. For me, I think it continually dropped back down every time because going big is a cathartic release in a way, and Luisa is never allowed to have that here or in life. I think I saw a grain of inspiration light in your eyes when the hook dropped the first time.😀
I can't be the only one in this channel who has a crush on Blake, please tell me I'm not alone
The Family Madrigal covers everyone’s gifts
At this point all I watch is encanto reactions so I’m happy to see you’re also doing one! I would watch the movie for the rest of the songs tbh!
I've listened to this song a million times and never noticed the whisper track. Wow!
"brain, ADD, where am I?" lol literally me. Loved this reaction! I still need to watch this movie but I know all the songs because they're so good
I'm a 38 years old man and I've watched this movie 3 times, twice without my 8 year old.
I love your reaction! I like all the songs of the movie, but Surface Pressure is my favorite :)
Dos origutos (two caterpillars) makes you cry watching it. The song is airy and so touching and completely in Spanish so you are surprised to he moved so heavily by it as an English speaker.
Your notes about how to write a sick Bridge was insightful, thanks! 0u0
Yeeesss I was so excited to see this! I agree with everyone else - please keep reacting to this soundtrack! So many good songs.
i love the way you were like •o• when the hook dropped, even though you predicted it
I love the lighting for this video! I recommend keeping it like this. Looks really professional
Thanks for this reaction! I'm from Colombia and watching you react and break down the song so deeply is amazing. I'd really love if you reacted to Dos Oruguitas, the only song that is in Spanish and was made by a Colombian artist

Good call!!
YES OMG THANK YOU FOR LISTENING TO US TO REACT TO SURFACE PRESSURE
I love the reactions from Encanto
Sooo excited for you to react to this, the song is so good!!
Yes please do the rest too, I’m sure u would enjoy them
Additionally, I also want to notice newer things in the songs that I’ve maybe not caught on to yet

REMINDER : Give us a review video of this amazing amazing movie
I did not notice the whisper tracks saying pressure and now it’s so obvious
The algorithm did you favors today! I clicked on your Bruno video and then checked to see if there were more and this one was released 22 minutes ago😅
Absolutely do the rest of the songs!
The Family Madrigal and waiting on a Miracle are the best songs
Deberías reaccionar a música latina. Hay buen rock. Te aseguro que le volara tu mente. Saludos desde Chile 🇨🇱
omg ur reaction to the hook was so cool to see!
I personally love it when you pause and give your commentary. It’s horrible when people just talk over the music and then stop their train of thought.
Your accent was actually really good omg
YES FINALLY! THIS IS THE BEST SONG😭😭😭😭💙💙💙
Get well soon 💗
A friend of mine said Luisa's room might just be a home made gym and I'm very conflicted
1:00 yessssss we stan euphoria
Yes, best number of songs ever in a Disney, all of them are really good. Bruno has amazing layering.
if you didn't know, the music it written by Lin Manuel-Miranda who wrote the Hamilton musical, that's why it's so amazing
I'm pretty sure there's a drawn out rhyme with rhymes within it. So she goes "who am i if i can't run with the ball, if i fall to" and then later when they're hanging "who am i if i can't carry it all(ball), if i fal-ter(fall to)"
Powerful and beautiful reacts really 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I definitely think you should do a full reaction, it would be interesting to see.
Omg I’d loveee to see you react to Hamilton!! These are written by the same artist Lin Manuel!
I was listening to this song the other day and genuinely thought I heard an airy 'Pressure' throughout it's play! I put my speaker to my ear and was like...'Wow, that's cool!' 🤣🤣🤣
Im always looking forward with your reaction. Love all of it! Im a fan!
7:58 You just described Lin Manuel Miranda
Loved the reaction video with the explanations, looking forward to the rest as they come
as always, I really love your reactions. Always on point.
This one's my fav
i really want to see you react to hamilton (soundtrack or movie). it might be too long or too different from your other reactions, but i love the songwriting and the entire musical in general.
The singer of this song did the rock version with a rock band on TikTok and it’s amazing
Love disneys songs
I would really love if u react to “Dos Oruguitas” from this same soundtrack, it’s a beautiful song with great symbolism
React on the whole soundtrack plss. It is really good😍
You gotta listen to What Else Can I Do from this movie too it's one of my favorites from the movie
And Dos Oroguitas
I love your new hair
Set me free and crisis by joshua bassettt!!
Also andrew garfield singing in tick tick boom.
Dos Oruguitas and Waiting on a miracle are GREAT too!
This is Louisa's song about how strong she is but nervous about losing her strength
Yesssss react to moreeeee pleaseee I love your breakdowns of the song even tho just sonically
I gotta say, I can never get enough of your reaction videos, loved this one! Hope you get better!
It is pop, mixed with musical theatre but reggaeton is in there too.
And if you think these two songs are good, watch the movie and listen to Dos Oruguitas. It's my favorite song from the soundtrack.
bury the light by Casey Edwards is a masterpiece of production, definitely recommend
It's funny you mentioned Taylor Swift. When that part came on I thought it sounded so much like Taylor.
Hes gonna watch it from 10 days
React to Waiting On a Miracle, it's from the movie too
YES! Do the rest
please do dos oruguitas with subtitles on! it’s the only fully spanish song in the movie and the message is just heartbreaking and beautiful
This is a bop, but the lyrics are really sad.
I was just hoping you’d make this video!!!
@BlakeMcLain you should react to Dos Oruguitas by Sebastian Yatra from Encanto. It’s such an amazing song vocally as well as visually.
When are you doing the rest of the songs/the movie? I super enjoyed both of them so far, went looking for more, and no dice!
I've been waiting for this! 🤩
you should definitely do the rest 😩👌💖
You should do dos oruguitas next🎶
Please do family madrigal next😭🙏🏻
Hi Blake I’d love to see you do a video on your favourite musically produced songs and explain it
You might want to check out other Lin-Manuel Miranda Stuff like In The Heights and Hamilton
Great video
You pausing right before it drops made me realize theres visual representation of it too, she is literally dropping before that.
I really want reaction for all the songs
You should check out arcane enemy. Also idk if you’ve ever dove into the world of league of legend songs but as a producer you’d love em. They also have nice cinematics for the audience.
My fav ohlord
Luisa is a beefy woman and her voice reflects that
