BGVP just don't care about reviewers/reviews. Which is very unfortunate because they have some hidden gems and use quality drivers for good bit less money than the "competition". I wish we had more coverage on their stuff. NS10 is interesting, DMA is interesting, their all-BA's are interesting. I asked PAR whats the deal with the company and thats what he said pretty much - inconsistent, once a year they may send few reviewers a unit of something and disappear for a year.
I went from Supermix 4 to Letshuoer S12 2024 due to losing the left SM4 earpiece on an airplane. Should I have picked the Anvil 114 over the Letshuoer S12 2024?
@Jaytiss I noticed more bass note weight on the SM4 when listening to r&b (Let's Chill by Guy), but it's very close. The rumble of bass notes on chord progressions is there on both when using the same ear tips, slight nod to the SM4. Vocals also seem clearer on that particular track. I feel SM4 may be less sibilant as well, but thinner in the upper bass and mids to give bass, upper mids and treble room to breathe. Thick sound (S12) can often mean less visceral. SM4 could score higher on many charts on a relisten IMHO. I like the S12 though after changing the tips, it makes a world of difference!
Hi friends, I was planning to buy the Hidiz Mp145 to listen to music (Nu Metal, Metal, Rock) and to use it in the 3.5mm jack of the steam deck, as it has an excellent soundstage, but I just saw that they speak wonders of the Pula Anvil 114, and I think it can also meet the need I have for a iem to listen to music and play (The Witcher, Doom, Zelda, only campaign mode games, no multiplayer shooter), you recommend me? Mp145 ($100) or the Pula Anvil 114 ($160) I hope you can help me decide between those 2.
Idk personally, graph wise, the scoop between 1k-3k seems off putting. It also looks like it bleeds a little into the mids after 300hz, but that has rarely ever been that big of a problem in my experience. I prefer bass to stop at 250hz, but I dont mind the extension on the Kato Im a little interested in the BGVP NS10 pro
I appreciate your honest review.
Thanks for watching!
Wow, if you are saying the Pula Anvil is 90% of the Tangzu Bajie, then I am so glad I didn't pull the trigger on getting the Bajie lol
Lot of similarities with both!
Your voice went deep after the word "PULA". Very satisfying review.
lol 😂
Get the BGVP DMA, dress it with pure copper cable (6 or 7N); it is worth it so much. Firm and long break-in. You'll be very happy.
👍

I ordered one juat for fun. To me it looks like a good set for Classic Rock days.
I hope that you like it!
It looks like a less bassy Explorer with a BCD 😮
Thank you Jaytis!
Can that bass be eq'd?
Yes you can!
I'd love to hear your take on the penon fan 3. A BC driver with an on and off switch, $350 but often available for half price with a coupon from penon
I might try to get a loan in. Right now I’m mainly reviewing samples and loans.
Hey what should i go for female vocals between this and rhe chopin
Chopin!

I think s12 2024 is great. You did well.

I'd go MP 145.
I'm a metal head and hidizs mp145 is very good, but now I got the anvil and I like it better, love the mids and details
at 12:20, are you describing the Anvil or Origin? I thought I'd ask since maybe you just mispoke; let's talk about it!
I probably misspoke. 😂. I’ve been busy.

Haven't heard of it, I'll have to check it out.
We need of AFUL to implement BC. They are more skilled with tuning.
I’d be interested to see what they do next. My guess is probably a 300-400 set. But hard to say. 😂
Debatable. Also, you can look at Penon, they have some BC stuff and usually use branded drivers.
You can say what better. You can say the tuning is better. Drivers counts when you blast them😊
Good point. :)
Call me a caveman but I am still unsure about the whole bone conduction thing. Great honest review!
You and me both! I've felt iems move in my ears that aren't BC drivers.
How does this compare to the UM Mest mk2? Curious since they both have BC drivers
I haven’t tried that one to compare.
FIRST!
Hard pass here. Lacking bass with some weird upper mids and treble
Fair take and my point.
