When are people going to realize that when there's a healthy bull trout population there's a healthy salmon fishery they go together like milk and cookies
I understand the complaints...if we had all stopped fishing for 3 years 10 years ago and had a very aggressive anti snag/ net / poaching program in place the abundance would be mind boggling...we've got 3 million shad instead
Nobody puts together the correlation of the assassination an utter disregard for the bull trout for years and years were they killed everyone they saw you guys don't think this actually has something to do with the salmon fishery come on wake up

Oregon department of failure and wast as long as they get paid for fish not returning the fishing in Oregon will only get worse
It's the same deal in Washington state, the ESA needs to be reformed where funding is sustained by constantly improving numbers.
