Great video, cheers! It is my hometown and although now i live somewhere else i still like visiting Gliwice. If you're still around Upper Silesia i can't recommend you enough to go to visit Bytom- one of the biggest cities around here and one of most beautiful in terms of architecture etc. But interesting thing about Bytom is that over the years the city has been ravaged by coal mines and heavy industry(a lot of coal mine corridors go directly under city centre and a lot of beautiful buildings became structurally unsafe to live in), and when they closed down there was a massive exodus from the city, massive unemployment etc. So Bytom is a city of contrasts: you can find A LOT of beautiful places but at the same time there a lot of dilapidated buildings etc. It is a bit more dodgy than Gliwice but definitely worth visiting. All the best dude!
Not many people know about it but Just next to the train station there is hidden old jewish (i guess) cementary, you literally can access it only by coming through the townhouse door. Best city i have ever lived, unfortunately only for 4years during university attendance. Greetings from silesian living in britain :D
Thank you for the inside information 😊 I can say it was great to visit, I just wish I had stayed there so I could have experienced more of the bars/restaurants
Thank you for a very informative upload, I might have the chance of visiting Gliwice in the near future, I couldn't help but notice that during your filming there didn't seem to an awful lot of people about. Is this normally the case ? I'm also interested in seeing what the locals do for entertainment, for example are there any Flea Markets, Antique Markets or outdoor Food Markets at anytime during the week?
I’m actually not from Gliwice, I was just there for a couple of days and this was in the peak of summer, I believe around August time, for sure I can say it was quiet but not sure on markets and such
Actually this place was recommended to me by someone commenting on another video and I have one friend who comes from this city, so I just had to see it, only wish I’d had time to try out some of the bars while I was there but there was too much to do!
Also, when you'll be visiting south Poland again you cannot miss out Bielsko-Biała(where i currently live)- truly beautiful city full of attractions: ua-cam.com/video/S82xDZYe1Fw/v-deo.html
I like that calm narrative style. Good job.
Thank you 😊 it was a great video to make 😁

Very happy to hear you enjoyed the video and thank you for the recommendation 😊 for sure there are a lot of places left to see in that region!
One correction…
It is All saints church, not St Anne’s church, misread the guidebook 🤦🏻♂️
