I got the RG 440s and it wont play tape, moves it, starts rolling the tape but after 1 second it stops, sometimes i cant even open the tray to get the tape out, need to force play button to make it do something to let the tape go....

Go to the power supply board where the plug card go to check the little transformer ac side to see !!!! That's what light it up
