The gentleman referred to at 1.19 mins is my great grandfather, Benjamin Whitlock. His postmaster and church duties were then taken up by my grandfather Alfred. Between them they were prominent people at the church and in the village for decades! Finally my grandmother Jane ran the shop until her death. The business was then run for a time by my Mum and Dad until it was sold. It is now a lovely cottage. Lots of happy memories for me staying there with my grandmother Jane. Happy days !
