Not even sure what the whole issue was.......the person who put these guys on had other singers/groups who only performened. Boney M as an example. These guys were great performers and that's why they still live on.
At the time the music , their dancing, stage presence and charisma did a great job of helping hide the lip syncing. Now that we know, it is actually easy to see it.
Most things online are deceptive. They were just ahead of their time 😂
Most groups - singers lip sink in the 80’s and 90’s god top of the pops made them lip sink still to this day love this song and milli vanilli made this song pretty sure the real person that sung this song couldn’t do what they did for it
