- Welcome to "A Trip to Remember, Dale Hollow U.S. Carp Angling." We have made this film to show the potential the U.S. has to offer, and help grow the sport of carp fishing in America.This film will show our journey to a phenomenal lake with hidden potential most places in the U.S. cant match. The fish that call this place home have and will continue to captivate anglers minds for years to come.

I recently moved back to Tennessee and Dale Hollow Lake is became a big attraction for carp fishing. It wasn't this way years ago strictly bass and Game fish is whatever he was after. Now I see people with nothing but bait alarms different types of gear to catch these carp. Enjoy the lake is full of big ones I have seen some good carp caught and released in Dale Hollow Lake. I just live about a mile from the water and absolutely love it here.

I love how you guys have been spreading the love for this great sport fish that is totally misunderstood and bashed upon by many people and fishermen here in the States. I agree our waters have so much potential and their must be some truly massive fish in our waters. I have been fishing for them for many years too now and try to spread the love and educate people on what a great fish carp are as much as I can. I live in California and my biggest carp is 27lbs hopefully one day I'll catch

Good video! BIG Suckermouth Buglers * Dale Hollow Reservoir lies mainly in northern Tennessee, where it covers portions of Clay, Pickett, and Overton Counties. Small arms of the lake also extend northward into the Kentucky counties of Cumberland and ClintonTennessee & Kentucky Border. Dale Hollow Lake covers 27,700 acres of water.

U guys have so much love and respect for these beauty's!!!! I've been an avid fisherman all my life, and I've never caught carp, intentionally. But I'm changing that this year. I'm trying to learn all I can about these beautiful fish, because knowledge is power. I went yesterday and used dough bait and I had one good hookup, but didn't get a good hook set. I cant wait to feel the fight, and release her.

good angling guys here from the uk love to see some good continental carping , the lake is truly breath taking and no doubt holds some truly amazing carp, perhaps try fishing more than one rod on a spot at one time like all three rods then you'll find you may catch one of the bigger ones straight after catching one of the smaller ones on your first rod just how pack fish in a big lake like that feed tend to let the small ones in first then big one feels safe , just a thought for you guys but keep it up fellas wanna see more vids and new pb's very soon ;)

Didn't know americans are targeting carp like we do, but i really like what i see ! keep on going like this guys your waters have maybe the best potential in the world because nearly no-one is carp fishing in america.(as far as i know) looking at this video gets me dreaming of that my home waters could be like this sometimes ...

Just watched the film - brilliant! I'm English but based in Holland and try and pioneer waters / rivers for wild fish - 'no names'. Loved the genuine enthusiasm, effort and passion. Happy for the dark haired lad had the 37lb'er at 'the death' - that's fishing : ) If you ever fancy Europe - give me a shout. Funny seeing the Aqua retainers - you're not messing around! Just started Carp fishing in Colorado with method feeders and pack bait.. my PB common so far is 14lbs on a private fishing club but I caught him on chicken livers while fishing for blue cats.. hope to get into more!! Unfortunately a lot of people in my state bowfish and consider commons and mirrors trash fish so they bow fish for them and kill every carp in sight.. the European carp aren’t the enemy, it’s the Asian carp like grass, silver and bighead that are the problem 😅

I live 10 mins from dale hollow lake in Clay county. I fish there a few times a week, I've never carp fished the lake but I have seen carp by the damn in 100 foot up water must up been close to 80 lb! so good luck guys there's monster out there

I'm really enjoying your small film and this great lake! I thought that the reservoirs in germany are big with about 1000 acres but dale hollow lake makes me want to fish there once in my life! Maybe we can stay in contact!
It's a big lake, but I actually fish a bigger one, it's called Lake Michigan, it's 13 million acres!! And yeah sounds good

im suprised none turned up dead. heard stories online about fish ending up dead for sacking them to long. kept some in sacks for a 2 hours and had a hard time getting it back in the water.

Would hope that eventually there would be more citizens of this country recognize the error of their ways and give these fishes the kindness and respect they truly deserve. I recently became interested in them myself, and feel blessed to have many local waters where truly large specimens exist. I only hope the hunters do not find the biggest of them to waist wantonly as they do. The hunters call themselves bow fishermen, but do not respect their quarry. That's the same as they do with the whitetail deer. Their only goal is to slaughter for "bragging rights" and then cast the carcasses into the woods, water, or dumpsters. Too bad.Yea, I hear the arguments from those who claim they eat them, but have never seen evidence of such, only to the contrary.Come on law enforcement! Get with the program and stop with the reckless endangerment of a naturalized species!! If it was your beloved brown trout, or largemouth bass you'd not stand for it at all!!
