Too bad very few cover or focus on amateur radio software that is STEM related. I'd like to see radio astronomy and software related to the subject and other interesting radio related subjects covered at least to some degree.
Much emphasis seems to be on making and logging contacts with distant stations. In the beginning days of radio where everything was homebrewed including the rigs making distant contacts in a sense graded the operators understanding of radio. Now, its an indicator of how much money you gave to a retailer who sells manufactured radios & antennas.
Exactly where is the skill in using a cell phone to call random telephone numbers in foreign nations? Well, what ever that is more or less is what the thrill seems to be that much of the focused software relates to.
Windows and Mac . Why not any open source goodies for Linux based OS's ?
Just wondering, where is the ham radio crash course? All I’ve heard is great question, and someone asked a ham radio related question. No answer. How long have you had your ticket? What have you done an amateur radio mostly? Have you built Allstar node’s, IRLP node’s? DMR hotspots? D-Star? Yaesu Fusion? HF? Antenna Guru? Or do you build repeaters maybe?

WSJT running EME can be VERY CPU intensive so there I would recommend a faster computer! FT8 isn't quite as bad but still a cpu hog...

It also depends on if you are doing a deep call sign search or standard(one of the option tabs, forget which one). I have seen as high as 90% CPU on a 4 core AMP GPU doing a deep search... and I usually won't run that unless I know the other station is going to be very very weak(-20db or worse, I have a calculator that can do the path)
When programming TYT DMR radios, you will need to install editcp from the repository in Linux.

I concur. A video that stays on topic without a comments box would only be 20-minutes long and be coherent. You lose me after a couple of minutes and I close no further in than 20%.
