Terrific discussion of a great film! What a difference it makes to have another actor as facilitator, especially one as thoughtful, sympathetic and articulate as Saoirse Ronan.
What a beautiful and insightful conversation! This little cinematic masterpiece will forever be one of my favourites! The ending of the Q&A really got me. Such a sincere gesture of Andrew and a beautiful human connection between two people who suffered a tragic loss.
@@RMohammed90-n2n yes, for someone shy like Andrew, being loved that much (by Paul and more broadly), so visibly, with such high praise constantly heaped upon him, and all in public no less, it can be rather awkward; but I trust Andrew Scott to know his own boundaries better than any of us internet spectators. These two are so warm together so often enough I can't imagine there to be any issues.
I have to disagree that one can use their own accent to play any part. Sure you can use your own accent but it can ruin the presentation of that character for the audience. An actor playing Gengus Kahn cant have a British or Irish accent. An actor playing a Mohawk Indian during the early days of settlements in the colonies cant have a Chinese, Irish or Jewish accent.
Paul Mescal is constantly hugging Andrew Scott. How sweet:)
These three are the genuine holy trinity of love and tears.

I have been thinking about this the whole time!
So far the most amazing interview!

The interviewer is talking too much. I mean I wanna know what they have to say and not hear about her experiences.
Yes! She kept interrupting Andrew mid answer too
