Haha true!, just like the Tyco/Tonka XRC Ricochet (if anyone remembers this legend, along with the Tyco Fast Traxx and Typhoon). These were what 90's kids (like myself) were bashing with before we entered the glorious world of hobby-grade RC's.

Hey kev, I have a tip for ya. If you take some silicone spray and put it on the axles and gears, it will be a lot, I mean A LOT smoother and will make it drive to a faster rpm. You’re welcome. ;)

I think Primal RC themselves make an electric conversion kit. I saw a video awhile back doing just that
the make a conversion kit them self butt it cost about 1250 dollar.

Looks the nuts with the big wheels, I wouldn’t be surprised if someone launched a big foot version of one of their trucks once they see this video! Would need to over engineer the crap out of the chassis, drivetrain and suspension to handle it though!. I’d buy one anyway lol

You definitely want metal gearing, with those monster tires, and the best servo's you can find. A bigger spur gear, and smaller pinion, would be ideal LOL.
Stock gears are metal.

@@doubleutubefan5 definitely not better, the only reason rc trucks can survive massive jumps is because they are designed to bottom out. The shocks arent built to withstand taking all that mass to a complete stop from 20ft in the air.

There needs to be a kit or RC that is exactly like this. Just MASSIVE wheels and amazing power!
A double motor setup with all metal gears in the diffs and 2 sets of shocks might handle it. Getting going would be tough on it but once it's going it should be reliable

Gear it down and run it again, we haven't seen enough of it!
The wheels are probably big enough to allow the RC truck to be very buoyant and could possibly float on water
At the end of the day, that was fun. Love to see this modified and back out 👍🏻

It's fascinating how capable the Xmaxx is.
Definetly want to see it geared down... Handles more like a true MT with those tires... I'm sure theirs a million haters saying that's gonna break the diffs..... The xmaxx is the strongest coolest RC ever made rtr..... Arrma fan boys arma rtr don't compare without like a $1000s in mods on the 5th scale outcast...
I've seen the XMaxx and Raminator compared in size before, but it never hit me just how much bigger it was till 0:43

That was absolutely Epic! If you could find a way to not only make it so the XMaxx can handle those larger tires but somehow lower the truck so the tires stand out above the roof, that would be amazing. Then you could drive right side up or upside down. Lol

Redcat shredder, is a very good rc for the money I love it. Xmaxx size just more stable because it’s lower
