I own several systems...thermacell, nitecore, flextail,no name devices; and the 05 plate is smaller than the other say EMR40 but is the same size as the smaller other brand mats and when you see the used mats you realize you barely used half the big pads anyways so...i use the smaller mats on the 05. They are 11 cents each dang it!

@@GuyInAMountain I should add, the EMR 05 and 30SE works with solar panels (I got Big Blue 28w 2.4A outputs off Amazon but similar out of aliexpress could be way cheaper)

EMR05 seems a fine idea. Save some money/weight/space on the internal battery and just plug in whatever USB power source you already have.
That stupid clip looks stupid though. Instead of a bulky clip that only works for straps and is a process to attach, have a clamp clip that works for anything and is simple to attach?
