  • In the new movie "Same Kind of Different As Me," Djimon Hounsou plays a homeless man named Denver who helps not only bring a family back together but also a city.
    Based on a true story that confronts stereotypes, this movie weaves together faith, family and forgiveness. Roland Martin recently sat down with Hounsou who shared why this role was personal for him.

    Djimon Hounsou WAS THE BEST ACTOR IN THIS MOVIE! HE FELT EVERY PART DEEPLY, AND IT SHOWED!!!

    Djimon is such a humble man...
    I so admire him... He hasn't been in a bad movie or television show that i've seen... Thank you Mr. Martin for this interview it was/is well needed and deserved...

      Awesome movie. I used to work for a ministry that's mission is to end homelessness. I miss that job...watching this film is a game changer for me. Being a part of that organization played a much larger part in my life for nearly 5 years. Thinking about going back to continue making a difference in others lives.
