How nice of him to day measuring the wrong instead of sayin his employee was making up numbers
At my previous job, we provided quarterly business reviews that included customer service average call time. I learned real fast the average call time across all calls is not the average experience for most, it’s just that….an average in the data. So what we did instead was focus call times by range: 0-1 minutes, 1-2 minutes, 3-5, etc. This would become the focus point on how many calls were over our requirements and what we needed to do reduce the call times in those upper thresholds, rather than solely rely on an average across all calls.
I use chat most of the time, but I’ve never had a ride representative, even if it’s a manufacturing issue, the CSR has always gone out of their way to find a solution.
The nitty gritty makes the business.
