Angelina knew she was never going to win the show; I'm not sure she wanted to. But she did accomplish what she set out to do and that was to break on to the American scene in a very big way. That did that in spades.

Absolutely! Every song written comes from the heart and soul of someone... she has the unique ability to be able to find the soul in the words of the song. Even more important she feels it and you feel it just by listening. That is the mark of the best musicians and writers.. I’ve been playing music since I was 11 and am 74 now and still playing, writing and listening. To say I am impressed is an understatement. I rarely have goose bumps and tears listening to music but I have both with Angelina most every time. Love A Million Miles and her book... I pray everyday for her and hope she stays on the path she’s on now and not follow some of our supposedly talented singers. I could and do listen to her everyday. She is so calming!!!
When you can shut down the voices in a huge auditorium Of screaming people as she did in AGT
Simply by raising a mic to your mouth you have power, so much power!! A singer like Angelina doesn’t need filthy lyrics, a screaming voice, or Dirty dancing half dressed!!!!
All she needs is a Mic and a stool, a piano or guitar and the people will come and listen and feel the real power of music!!!!

Angelina is the definition of "prodigy". She was 13 when this performance was taped for AGT Champions 2. The arrangement is completely hers, and her voice is magical. I could suggest many of her great performances, and you won't go wrong, whatever you choose. But for me, her best performance Ever is her cover of the Adele/Bruno Mars song "All I Ask". 13 years old here. Her arrangement. You need to hear her at age 9 covering “I put a spell on You,” the black & white version, an in studio recording. She won Norway’s Got Talent. Audition age was 7 yrs. old, singing Billie Holiday’s “Gloomy Sunday.” By end of competition, age 8, and she sang “Summertime.” All songs she sang in the competition are listening-worthy. She’s done literally over 100 covers. She began writing music/songs a few years ago. Speaks 4 languages, English is her second one. After the America’s Got Talent, the Champions, she signed with Republic Records. Age now 15, probably close to 16. She is incredible. A prodigy. You’ll get addictive.

Here is an introduction to Angelina for you and your viewers who might not be familiar with her.
Angelina is Norwegian, her full name is Angelina Jordan Astar. Her father is Swedish, her mother is Norwegian from a Japanese father and Iranian Mother Mery Zamani who is a poet and a painter and was a child prodigy in her own rights. She started singing at the age of one and a half when she fell in love with Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You”. A year later she discovered Jazz through her grandmother and showed lot of interest in artists like Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Dinah Washington, and Louis Armstrong.
Angelina pestered her mother to enter her in “Simons Show” as she called it from the age of 3. Her mother relented and entered her in Norway Got Talent at the age of 7 where she auditioned with Billie Holiday’s Gloomy Sunday. She went ahead to win the the big prize at the finals where she received 46% of the votes while the remaining 9 finalists combined received 54%. Angelina said she likes singing because she wants to bring joy and love to the whole world. One of her dreams from a very young age was to sing at the Nobel Peace Prize concert. She accomplished that at the age of 8 singing Louis Armstrong’s What a Wonderful World.
After winning NGT, she was flooded with offers from major music labels as well as Disney but they were all turned down by her and her family in order for her to continue her education and to protect her artistic integrity. Her uncle/manager in an interview last year he talked about music labels top executives who would fly to Norway on private jets with huge contracts offers but would leave mad and frustrated because they never expected being turned down.
Angelina is fluent in Norwegian as well as in English. She also speaks some Swedish which is very close to Norwegian and probably learned it from her father. She also speaks Farsi which she learned from her grandmother as well as some Japanese that she picked up from her grandfather as well as her mom and uncle who lived for a period of time in Japan. She actually performed a Japanese song at a concert in Japan.
Most of her performances after NGT were for charitable children organizations where she helped to raise millions.
At the age of 6 and while travelling in another country with her family, she came across a young orphaned shoeless girl who was weighing people on a bathroom scale for some coins in order to support herself and her siblings. After chatting with her for a while and without prompting from her family, she gave her shoes to the orphan girl. She recorded that incident in her diary and vowed to always sing barefoot when doing that in public to remember that girl and to remind herself and us about the many needy children around the world. At the age of 9 she wrote and published a book about that encounter making her Norway’s youngest published author. Proceeds from that book are donated to children charities.
Angelina Jordan has about 140 songs in her repertoire. Late last year she signed with Republic Records as their highest priority new artist. Her versatility is unmatched. She will wow and surprise you all the time. 15 years old today who is an excellent role model for today’s youth and her best is yet to come.

The reason she isn't a more widely know singer is her family wanted her to have a normal childhood and only let her perform a handful of times per year. She is 15 now and has signed with Republic Records.

You have not heard of her because she is young (still only 15) and well protected by those close to her. I've heard lots of her covers and originals but, like many of those who react to her find, you never get used to that moment when her voice kicks in. You think you know how good she is, yet the surprises and chills just keep on coming. She is unlike every other child singer I've heard. Her vocal ability has always been off the scale for her age, a real joy to listen to. Thanks guys, I hope you see more of Angelina.

Before listening to I Put a Spell On You. I would go back to her first performance in a sound booth at six years of age of which there are four. “I Who Have Nothing “ being the most notable. Then her four performances on Norway’s Got Talent at seven and eight. After that anywhere within the 140 plus songs. She will bring you to your knees. After 79 years of listening to music I will state that she is the greatest vocalist of all time. Period

No need to hurry, I'm sure Angelina has good people around her. When her record label (Republic Records) , family and herself want it, they can just push the button. Many people forget that she is only 15 years old today because she is so mature for her age. I think everyone on her team including the record company (Republic Records), slows down a bit with marketing her. She is so good anyway, so she can not be ignored. She delivers music that lasts, and not music that lasts for a few weeks as plastic hit. Angelina has over 600 Million Views on UA-cam and over 2 Billion Views on Facebook overall on her videos. Angelina won Norway's Got Talent at the Age of 8, and has been producing masterclass level vocals ever since. The only and regular marketing is done by the fans via UA-cam. All the important top personalities in the western music industry know who she is and what she can do. In just a few years I know that we will see great things from Angelina.
If you need to identify who she sound like, I can tell you that she has 1000 different voices to choose from, depending on the song choice and type .. It's Angelina.
If you want a 11 try "I Put A Spell On You" (Black and White version) when she was nine years old. You need seatbelt and a pillow below your jaw for that one.

Thanks for your reaction to Angelina. She deserves all the attention she can get, not just because of her immense talent but also for her charity and humility. It's hard to recommend another song because they are all so good. Her songs from her early days such as on Norway Got Talent are sensation because it shows how much of a prodigy she was at 7-8 years old. But then she has continued to improve and her recent original songs have intelligent lyrics and are wonderfully performed. For the most part, her live performances are better contrary to normal expectations because many in her home-produced songs are off the cuff and less rearranged and rehearsed. But the one song everyone should hear is her 9-year-old performance of "I Put a Spell on You" (in black and white) because it defies any expectations you could possibly have. I have never seen anyone who wasn't totally gobsmacked by it even if they were already familiar with Angelina's other songs. For her latest are Michael Jackson cover of 'Heal The World' and Whitney Houston/ Mariah Carey's 'When You Believe', both appropriate for this trying time. Summertime Norway got talent
Angelina Jordan is a music prodigy she started singing at age of 1.5 years and more than that she started with Billy Holiday Jazz. Angelina speaks 3 languages, designs her own clothes, and has written a very popular book called "Mellom to hjerter" (Between Two Hearts) a story about why she wears no shoes during her performances, and like her name she truly is an angel with a heart of gold. Angelina won Norway's got talent she started the competition at 7 years old and won at 8 years old. Her younger years before age 13 she was watched over by her mother (Sara) and her Uncle who just wanted her to grow up normal. Her mother and uncle Turned down almost 90% of all requests for her to perform but even so from age 7years to 12 years old or so, she has been all over the world (Mother never more than a breath away) Angelina has produced over 130 covers, and she makes all of them her own, all of which will astound you. New people to Angelina get sucked down this road of experience not believing what they're hearing her excellent vocals and unique way of singing, Angelina is a master at music structure her ability to show absolute recognition to a cover while she makes it her own. Angelina writes her own music and produces it. Angelina's mother is Norwegian, her father is from Sweeden The artist grandmother (Mery Zamani) on her mother's side is from Iran and her grandfather (recently deceased) is from Japan both grandparents are very involved with Angelina's growing up, Angelina's song a million miles is about losing her grandfather. Although Angelina didn't win AGT champions 2021 she was signed to Republic record label and is producing new music 7th Heaven, Million Miles, Save the world shes on her way to a world market that I'm sure she'll dominate.

She got many different sounds to her voice and Amy Winehouse is 1 of them. You will be amazed by her version of any songs. Try her own composition "Million Miles" video version. Fair warning, Angelina is addictive, because she finds a way to hit resonance in every song she does. Emotional resonance or acoustic resonance and often masters level arrangement like this one. Even the surviving members of Queen were in awe.

Can you explain what you mean by "hitting resonance"? I think I have a sense of it, but I would like to hear you talk about the concept a bit more.
I would say to help you understand Angelina's works, then you need to start with her younger performances of Jazz covers. The Jazz background comes from her Persian (Iranian) Grandmother who is a recognised artist, the trouser suit is an example. The previous suggestion of "I Put A Spell On You" (Screaming Jay Hawkins cover) is the absolute must see and react to song.
When you get to the more recent her original releases of "Million Miles" and "Seventh Heaven" plus the cover of "Heal the World" studio versions are the most popular.

not sure this you know but Angelina copyrighted and release her "Bohemian Rhapsody". Now on all major streaming services and Amazon. She now a number of more recent songs that she has released, along with 2 originals with Republic Records, where she signed in Dec 2020, and a few awesome covers released after her signing. Of course, yes her "I put a spell on you " cover (at age 9) is legendary. Would be great to see more reactions to this amazing talent and person.

She started singing when she was one and a half, and won Norway's Got Talent in 2014 at age 8. She was 13 here, and turned 15 on January 10th of this year. Got here late so I'll make it short. Discovered her over 3 years ago & have been addicted to her voice ever since. I had given up on music for the last 20 years, but then along came Angelina & now music has become a major part of my life again. She is the most versatile artist I've seen in my 74 years. She is the G.O.A.T. Thumbs up & subscribed for more Angelina. Most people will want you to hear her most shocking performance ever of I Put A Spell On You & it will blow your mind, but personally it barely makes my top 10. I prefer the more mature Angelina & my favorite is her cover of Adele's All I Ask sung at 15. It is packed with emotion & is much better than the original, IMHO.

Thank you gentlemen for getting to Angelina so fast!! Angelina is 13 here. Angelina arranged this herself as she has all of her songs since performing "Summertime" on Norway's Got Talent (NGT) at 8. There are videos showing her explaining to the trumpet player how she wants him to play it. This girl is a child prodigy that has devoured jazz since 3 years old. Many people hear Amy Winehouse in her voice, others hear Adele and she has covered 5 Amy songs and 5 Adele songs. Once you've listened to a few of her songs you will hear hints of many artists in her voice. She said at 8 that singing was like breathing to her. Almost 150 videos to view from 6 years old to now 15 and each one a gem.
Please read Andy Schnell's comment for a bio and esp. the reason she sings barefoot, it's quite moving. After winning NGT at 8 she traveled the world including Europe, Asia and America mostly performing charity events to benefit needy children and has helped raise millions for children's charities. By the time she did AGT at 13 she was already a seasoned professional.
Many fans will ask for "I PUT A SPELL ON YOU" black and white version at 9 years and 2 months old. It is a stunner but I believe her 10 year old performance of "FEELING GOOD, Live on the Stream Gir Tilbake" is even more sensational. Frank, she started earlier than that - Omer (NGT judge) said he saw her telling the guitar player what she wanted from him for her Bang Bang performance - he did what the 8 yo told him. She knew what she wanted from a very early age. I am so impressed with this girl!! ❤️👣🎶

Angelina was 13 years old at this performance, and she does all of arrangements, and picks which songs to sing. She entered the Norway’s Got Talent competition at age 7, and just turned 8, with her last song, Summertime when she won. I suggest you watch the English subtitled versions of her NGT performances, they will truly amaze you.

Thank you both for your very nice reaction to Angelina Jordan. I have just subscribed to your channel hoping to see more AJ reactions. She is quite simply the greatest singer/songwriter ever recorded. I won't argue that point. No one will ever convince me otherwise. I've been listening to her every single day for over 4 years now. This little girl has dealt with the greatest songs of the last decades, often performed by the most talented singers, no matter if women or men, and has inevitably managed to appropriate the song, adapt it to her sensitivity and turn it into another song, often better than the original. 🤗 ❤️
Angelina is not only what you saw in this unique interpretation, she is much more, even very different, but everything she does is at a superlative level, she has performed over 130 different songs, including covers, songs written for her and also her 5 original songs.
