@@YahushasDisciple No, I believe it's called the Mt. Hood Meadows trailhead. This trail starts near Umbrella falls and then you hike southeast to Sahalie Falls. Elk Meadows is closer to Sahalie Falls (about 1.2 miles to the falls) and then you would hike northwest to get to Umbrella falls. It's a longer hike to see both falls from Elk Meadows but it's a nice hike. Same trail though (#667C), just depends if you want to add on a couple more miles by parking at Elk Meadows.
@@PacificNWHikerthanks!! So you parked and started at mt hood meadows? All I see from there is the Timberline Trail, which connects to Umbrella and Sahalie.
@@YahushasDisciple So from route 35 N you are going to turn onto Mt. Hood Meadows rd. You will pass Sunrise parking lot and take it to the end of the road where it leads right into the main parking lot. You will see a trail that takes you to Umbrella falls in a quarter mile. Or you could just park in Sunrise parking lot and hop on trail 667 to Umbrella falls. Both lots are pretty close to each other. Either one will work to take you to Umbrella falls and then you can head to Sahalie.
Sure is beautiful there! Thanks for sharing your experience with us
Pacific NW is a great place to be for waterfalls. They are everywhere. Thanks for watching. More awesome waterfalls on the way.
@@PacificNWHiker awesome! We really enjoy making outdoor videos also
Incredible views!
Thanks. Glad you liked the video.
Sweet. Very gorgeous waterfalls!
Glad you enjoyed seeing them. Always a treat when you can get two waterfalls like that in one hike.
Let's Go!!
Highly recommend to anyone looking for some awesome waterfalls to see near Mount Hood.
What trailhead did you start from?
I parked in the main lot at the end of Mt Hood Meadows Rd. From there, there is a trail that leads to Umbrella falls in just a quarter mile.
@@PacificNWHiker so not the TH called Elk Meadows? That’s the only way I know to get to those falls but your route looks to be much prettier.
