Hey man. Show what kind of shoes you have. Some of us need those to do what you do on them rocks. What type of shoes and where to get them. I don't do much fishing, but I'd like to be on the safe side.

We bought the krokers using the link. It was easy and they arrived here in Corpus in about 4 days. Also ordered the soles with the carbide tips.

Keep up the good work Ray. Bought a pair of over shoe Korkers from Amazon couple years back. Best investment for jetties. Just bought my son a pair from a company called the kingfisher fly shop. Just over $62. Highly recommend them for jetty fishin.
Man there is no price on your safety, or your life. Them korkers or cleets in general are life saves and a great piece of mind

Oh no that's not good hope you are OK. I fell recently aswell I almost got washed away by a big wave .. when I fell my knees got busted up by some barnicals cuts were deep but manageable... I'm just nearly healed .. hopfully your fall was not that bad .. sux that you lost your rod, but I'm sure it could have been worse

I notice you never take a cart or cooler to the end of the jetty… because it’s too crowded?
Because my last cart rusted out n broke on me. And I haven't had the funds to buy one as my money has been going to fix my truck here and there. However a cart would be a great help😂.. as far as the Port Aransas Jetties it's not fully paved all the way to the end .. you need to carry your stuff

I just got back from Texas City dike, wind was blowing us around
Can be the time of day you fished aswell .can be the tides ..can be a member of things. can even be the spot you were Fishing at the jetties. However theubare there just might need to move around if your not having luck or try different time of the day or a good tidal bite in the afternoon. Sometimes the mornings can be slow.
