I don't think it's a matter of opinion if Dimash is the best vocalist right now, because it's measurable: range, control and flexibility, versatility in genres. It doesn't mean he has to be everyone's favourite or you have to like him, that's a matter of personal preference - if you vibe with a singer and their music or not. But on paper, he IS the best vocalist.
Really, you think that 10% of all singers can do this? Keep listening to Dimash, just keep going and soon you'll come to the conclusion that he is the single greatest vocalist who has ever lived! Love your reactions and love your enthusiasm.

Now that I've caught up and watched all your Dimash reactions I can say that you are now in the "laughing" phase. He's so good that all you can do is laugh because you can't believe what your hearing, which seems impossible and yet here we are hearing Dimash sing the impossible. He reaches in, grabs your soul and takes you on an incredible ride every time. His vocal control in all registers is out of the this world and his sound is so pure. You, having a musical background (me too - trumpet) helps you understand how good he really is. There's so many songs that you haven't heard yet that will just blow your mind. This is one of my favorites though. I'm 52 years old and came across Dimash last year and so glad that we get to listen to him in our lifetime. This is the voice that I want to hear on my deathbed as I take my last breath (his song Ikanaide). I'm also a DCI fan (played with the Marine Drum and Bugle Corps for 4 1/2 years in D.C. from 88-92) and there's a few songs that Dimash sings that would sound great from a DCI hornline (Stranger and Olympico). Can't wait to continue with you on this Dimash journey.

His company is staffed by long term collaborators, and experts in all the fields a vocalist musician would normally go to various industry companies to do individually. He's a one man Internet/media industry and reaches millions in an innovative way. The public doesn't know he's a business genius and extraordinarily competent in addition to a genius musically. He just keeps a very low profile and always gives the credit to everyone around him and they're invaluable to him and brilliant at what they each do, particularly his Dad He started it, however, and remains the head of it and creative force, and we all know where the real credit goes, as industry people do. I am so happy you discovered Dimash. And i hope you will do more Dimash. Two of his idols are also M.j and Lara Fabian. He did a tribute to M.j singing " Earth Song " and " Billie Jean" , he also has his own creations not just covers ,but all of his covers are amazing. It s to much to whrite about Dimash. I will say simple G.O.A.T. And you have to listen Stranger, Vocalise, War & Peace, Diva Dance ( the movie 5th element, imposible song), Unforgatablle Day ( Gakku Show with note D 8 out of the piano ) so manny. Did you know Lionel issued a desist order so Dimash can't sing this song again. I think it has to do with the comments Lionel read like dimash version is better than Lionel. That's why we only get one version of this song.
