- Everyone seems to have overlooked the actual best nightmare staff when it comes to PvP, the Harmonised Nightmare Staff. I went PKing with the Harmonised Nightmare Staff to show how much better it is than the Volatile nightmare staff. The only real situations where the Volatile Nightmare staff is better would be on low level accounts, to anti rush people camping pray melee or to once again combat someone who camps pray melee in fights. For just about every other situation, the Harmoised Nightmare Staff is the best choice.

They look op because the staff leads into them much faster. It's just hard to out eat all 3 so quickly. As well as the fact they don't expect it either!

If you equip a charged tome of fire before the staff, you won't have to reselect fire wave for your autocast spell. It clears because you don't have enough fire runes for the spell when you equip the staff, which is why equipping the tome first solves that problem.

Sick vid tbh didn’t realise the staff doesn’t have the 2 tick delay for auto casting like other staffs. Next do it with a melee weapon so it stacks in the same tick!

the more you hit the more they eat, idk about os but an rs3 tick is 0.6s, i'm assuming they're the same. 2.4s per attack is mad considering you get an extra hit in every 4 hits in comparison to the volatile staff. over 10 seconds (or 9.6s) you'll have hit 4 times, where as a normal 5 tick attack would only get 3 autos (9s) in that time frame. considering the potential 46's, which is multiple pieces of food, this staff is simply ridiculous for long lasting fights. for the volatile staff, (3s auto) over a minute you get 20 autos. whereas the harmonised (2.4s auto) you get 25 autos. even if they all hit 20's you're still doing 100 extra damage per minute. big pog

4 tick casting means you're getting an extra hit in every 4 normal casts. 20% more damage output. On average, that 20% damage output will get you a lot of kills you otherwise shouldn't have gotten. The lengths people go to to get small stat increases like ranged strength, defence etc don't net 20% more damage output. Harmonised Staff is one of the best weapons in the game for PVP.

I noticed you can actually stack the fire spells themselves so technically speaking you could stack 92 damage alone with just two fire waves and use the dragon axe special attack to finish @framed
