- Can I Survive Using ONLY The Eye? BTD6 / Bloons TD 6 - the recent Polythemus map has an eye which gives a plethora of buffs but at the expense of closing every 10 rounds. We're going to see how long we can last inside that eye.

everytime ISAB says "FLAVORED" trades, I keep second guessing myself and checking if I've been reading Favored Trades wrong. LOL
When I started playing on 2020 I actually misread and called it Flavored Trades for a while.
Only realized it was Favored because ISAB talked about comments that were annoyed of Flavored.
Edit: I am native Spanish so I really didn't register it didn't make sense.
I choose to believe that grape shot crosspath makes makes favored trades become grape flavored trades

But I think I would've used a perma brew on the platforms of the Carriere Flagship (Im not sure about the name lmao) so it doesn't take that much pops for the paragon and buffs like every towers
Maybe it wouldn't have gone as far as the RoD tho

What would work even better would be getting some paragons on the ice platforms. Just saying.

@@longbow6976 unfortunately, as you've seen, anything standing on ice platforms get sold when the eye closes every 10 rounds. So building paragons in there would be such a waste of time and money.
Thank you isab for popping those pesky balloons by only using water towers and only placing the towers in the eye on this specific map while the eye closes every few rounds with the price going up every few rounds
If you are to attempt this challenge again, recommend turning off auto start cause the pool closes and can be opened in between the rounds.
9:30 Objection : a Permabrew would’ve been a much better investment than the RoD.
you always struggle moving towers into location... if you drop it in the red and then click and drag a different part of the screen it moves slower, allowing you to be more accurate and faster with the placement.
That is called nudging.

Challenge Idea: CHIMPS but you can only buy an upgrade if it costs less than the total pop count of the tower.
I think I would have bought Perma-brew and Super Brittle/Cripple to maximize the Boat Damage for paragon degree, but seeing as how you got degree 60 anyway, it probably didnt matter.
I also think that it may have been possible to push a few more rounds if instead of removing the trees, you went for a Dart Paragon after the Navarch/TSG The Trees would keep the Spike balls caged to do huge DPS. With the Trees gone, trying to get an Ace or Boomer paragon may have bought you a few more rounds.
Fitting an ACE might be hard, but I was surprised he didn't try for it

11:19 If you dont sell the towers on flagship carrier it moves to the paragon not destroyed so there is no point in selling them.

I think instead of impale a permabrew on the carrier flagship would have done work, since the flavoured trades only have 1 pierce and damage

@@depressedboi5703 Hot shot doesnt count as an extra damage, but yeah trade empire is a fair point. Still think permabrew would have been great
Couple of optimizations:
Drop and Lock lets you have more precise boat placement.
Dont sell the two towers you've already placed on your first carrier flagship--the platforms remain available after that carrier flagship becomes a paragon.
Idk why first strike/pre-emptive wasn't used, maybe because its dps isnt worth the footprint?

Sacrificing a Support temple for your Magic on the Sun God is the most optimal play since it discounts the True Sun God even more. Didn't matter much obviously but good to know for when it matters
The most amazing part was the micro spacing. I try nudging, but can never do this

A reactor could have helped maximise the navarch by halfing brickwells cooldowns

20% not halfing and he had energizer which is better.
@@henningbreede6428 you are correct, I meant energizer but said reactor cos I'm dumb, but I meant getting it far earlier, before the navarch to get it to a higher degree

BTW, there is a Ben 10 mod. FourArms is BATSH&T overpowered (from when I last tried).

Its really funny that for pricey towers, using the Eye is actually mor efficient than placing them normally. With the discount TSG had, it was more than how much opening the eye costs trough the whole run, or at least pretty close. And there is the discount in the other towers too.

To be fair, that is something that could only be stopped by placing her in a bad position where she would be less effective, so it's not the end of the world.
Also, it doesn't necessarily make the challenge any less valid since those mines themselves are not towers. I personally think it's similar to if you did a dark castle castle roof/ledge only challenge and used a spike factory. The spikes are not the tower, so it does not make the challenge any less legitimate.

The reactor range in the end is insane
When you upgrade to the boat paragon, the towers on the carrier flagship are moved to the paragon, so no need to sell them. Also, boat paragon gains a 3rd tower spot on top of the T shaped tower, on the small hexagonal shape.

You could have placed one more carrier flagship for 2 more small tower spots beside the paragon ones.
I would have done perma brew, since it would buff all your ships so much.
