This is pretty good video. This is something that is difficult to do on your own. Having to come to the recognition of the powerlessness you have over alcohol. Just stopping isn't enough. There is the past wreckage of our life that needs to deal with. It's tough to understand that alcoholism/addiction is something that has roots in genetics. There is a predisposition you get from your parents. So you make a decision I need to deal with it. I don't have to like it, but it is there never the less. You been in treatment and know this stuff. The best way to get help is making the choice that it is something you need to be involved with a group who understands what you are going through and can provide support. Finding someone of the same sex who has been successful with sobriety is very important. Men and women going through the process to sobriety have very different out looks on how to do it. Guys approach it differently than women. The women's prospective - Guys just don't get it. If you want to go to Heaven you join a church and if you want to get sober you join a group that promotes sobriety. Don't ever think that you are not LOVED.

God bless you, sister! Remember that sometimes loving people means loving them from a distance, and praying for them. When you prayed over me as I sat in “the chair”, you seemed to have 20/20 spiritual vision. You are a prayer warrior/spiritual sniper for Christ, and this is a gift from God. The enemy will use anything (addiction) to stop you from the full acknowledgement (Philemon 6) and acceptance of your gifts. Don’t give the enemy an opportunity (Ephesians 4:27) to distract you.
Ask God to give you a hunger and thirst for His Word and His righteousness, and a hatred for anything that could destroy you. He loves to answer that prayer.
You’re so right about keeping busy.
Some of your old friends might try to guilt-trip you for the tough love, but this just means you’re stirring something up! :-)\o/
