I did a video about a year ago on a real lift cylinder that is put together the same way! There should be an Oring and a flat back up ring to seal it the flat ring goes away from the pressure, hope I can help
looks like a fairly straight forward repair. neat how the retainer ring is in one groove to hold it and slide it to a deeper one to release it. l enjoy learning your hydraulic wisdom.
It sure doesn't take a torch and a pipe wrench to unscrew the end of the cylinder, I've been fighting that all week at the shop! I've been wanting to stop out and see you guys but time is hard to come by!
