It’s hard to say. I know they’ve implemented 2 bags per household per year in southern CA as of late. I imagine similar parameters apply elsewhere. I think Paris is strict because of the volume they sell and the ability to just walk in and get something. Thanks for watching!

At the time, the euro and dollar had parody, so they were essentially the same price. Assume I was saying euros if you are trying to convert to dollars now that the euro has gone up a bit.

I have a store purchasing history but since Covid, most has been online. Do you know if that shows up as well. Also if I purchased in the CDG store but not one of the 3 in Paris, will that show up as a France purchase in one of the 3 when next I go?

You want to incentivize them with commission and in-person visits. Airport shopping history is run through a different program and does not show up in your main store history.

When they initially created my profile they couldn’t see, but the next day when I went back it was visible to them. Seems like the system takes time to fully sync once you shop in Paris.

Hai, I live in Europe (the Netherlands) so it is nearby Paris. I have the same experience as you. And funny…. In the same way you got your Evelyn bag, I got mine (same size but color taupe). I am very interested in how this way of selling by Hermes works (same as in the Chanel shops)? I think this is the policy in all the Hermes shops…. Amsterdam (I was often), Barcelona, London and Paris where I have been. Hope you keep us (or me) informed with your experiences. I come often in Paris so the advice is more than welcome 😊

I definitely think starting the conversation in french immediately changed the tone of the interaction. When I would come in and immediately speak English to an SA there, there was definitely a note of “ew”. Lol.
They can see your online purchases, but since SAs do not make commission off of those sales it does not work in your favor re: getting a bag. Any time you see something on the website I would send a pic and the item code to your SA so they can source for you.
