- Thousands of Yemenis, including supporters of the Houthis, protested in Sanaa on Friday (April 19) in support of Palestinians in Gaza.
Protesters gathered for the rally, chanting slogans and placards bearing the slogan of the Houthi movement and waving Palestinian flags.
Israel's assault on Gaza began after Hamas Islamists attacked Israel on October 7, killing 1,200, according to Israeli tallies. Israel's military offensive has killed 34,000 Palestinians in Gaza, according to the Gazan health ministry.
