My wife said running while pregnant was different for her with each of our three daughters.....our youngest daughter, now a mom herself, who lives in Denver just delivered her first, ran 3 to 5 miles a day up to her delivery.
It really is different each go around!
This is great - congrats. I’m 18 week pregnant with twins and just can’t run at all. Can barely breath 😂
This is amazing! Go Rinny!! Thanks for sharing your experience. Keep it up. We need more wisdom from pregnant athletes.
She grew so much. She is a beautiful child. Congrats for your very nice family! You are a true inspiration, from many points of view.
I loved seeing this video. I am not a runner but I have been working out on my home elliptical trainer and this video motivated me to continue working out in pregnancy. Thanks for sharing
All the best to you, Rinny! Izzy is still the cutest part of the show. She's going to be a great older sister.
You are awesome. I loved this - and I never had kids but still find this amazing!!! ❤️❤️
The round ligament pain while running is real!! Mine was so much worse during the second pregnancy, as well, and SI joint instability. All the excellent work you do with Erin will help though! Cheering for you. 👏👏👏
You are both awesome enjoy the journey
Great job. Thanks for sharing
You should get a pregnancy suit, make tim wear it and run beside you. See what his impressions are. 😄
GO RINNY!!!
thanks for sharing!
Omg, lizzy is so cute. She will be a champion like her mommy n daddy one day❤️
Hello Miranda. My name is Martina and believe it or not I am a pregnant triathlete in exactly the same week as you. The only difference being I focus on an Olympic distances. You are right there is no literature out there you can use as a support during your training but I do what my body tells me and I feel good. I have been steadily replacing running for biking (indoor for safety reasons) as it is becoming harder and harder - without supporting elastic belt almost impossible. Twice a week I go swimming and once a week I go to gym. I must admit that I do not feel comfortable at all looking at the times, heart rates and how little is enough for me to feel tired as hell. Thumbs up and best of luck with your training and pregnancy. If only we could safely carry on until our babies are born.
This makes me hella happy! Ran right through my pregnancies. My first ironman was two months post partum after my third- Lou 2016. DNFed not from training but from mechanical issues on my bike 🤣 Whodathunk. Missed bike cutoff by one damn minute! Got revenge at Lou 2018. Not even mad about the dnf- it takes the piss that I made it to that start line at all 🤣🤣🤣 On October 3, I am doing a 140.6 solo. I'll think of your family of tri excellence while I hammer it out at my sloth pace.
Can you share more about that experience?! I’m thinking doing a full 10 months postpartum. I’m quite nervous
Congratulations, you look beautiful! Do you try to control your HR in workout sessions during pregnancy? I am 20 weeks pregnant, also runner and triathlete, and i have read not to go much over 145
Una genia 😁👏👏👏
I'm in my first trimester and I can't even get out if bed lol 😂 I ran a few times a month before I hope I find the energy to run again soon
I still think rinny during pregnant run more faster than my tempo run lollll. My best pace was 5km/min for HM. LOL. Im know im slow 🤣🤣🤣
Why am I not surprised Tim is a moped guy?😁
Can it hurt you to run while your pregnant....just wondering
😊❤👍
Bebe doing triathlon in momas belly running swimming and (ghost) cycling...
My problem is just the ligament pain
Me too, I also have deep pelvic and back pain upon striking the ground... It’s really hard. I’m 21 weeks
This is awesome. My only concern is all the vibration the baby will experience. I imagine it will be uncomfortable if not painful for the baby
The baby is cocooned in liquid, they're not vibrating or in any distress.
@Apple Pie Not at all offensive, but definitely a ridiculous opinion. As long as a woman's doctor ok's it for her situation, there is nothing harmful about it, and it's far healthier for the baby (and mother) than a sedentary mother gaining a boatload of weight, getting gestational diabetes, etc. If you don't want to run while pregnant, don't, but don't push your outdated opinions on others.
