I met 5 Iranian young ladies at a Chinese immigration office today. They were really nice and we exchanged pleasantries as foreigners in China often do. They spoke perfect English.

The foreigner community China (especially during the lockdown. a couple years back) is fairly tight. People come, people go and many frequent the same bars, especially western holidays. Maybe 30 to 40 different countries have representatives and it's the part of living in China I really like. I had one friend from St. Helena.

If what you are saying is accurate about the number of dead hidden under the rubble, then the whole of Gaza must stink of death. One cannot imagine trying to rebuild this region, and act like nothing every happened. Those thousands of covered bodies are now a sea of buzzing insects and rodents, a horror that no American can even imagine, let alone stomach. Even the ones jeering and clapping at the Palestinians' suffering could not stand it if they actually saw it.

It’s something I’ve been talking about this past week. I’ve met many Iranians in my adult life in workplaces and friendships - no one can tell me that they are anything other than what I know. They are wonderful warm people that have been so caring and kind. Same with other middle eastern people I’ve gotten to know. I will always thank Mr. Ritter for holding up a mirror for the West, as a whole to see themselves, their actions and deeds toward the rest of the World. Some of us believe in values (liberty, individual freedoms, and respect for human rights), but the West never meant to respect those values. Also, I would like Mr. Ritter to engage in discussions with Muslims on their standing as to others regarding religion. Do Muslims' ultimate goal is to convert everyone to their faith through violent jihad and any other means because Islam is the last of the religion "revealed" by God?
