Personally, I prefer park content to lifestyle content, but I do like a little lifestyle mixed in. I love staycation videos. A way to improve a video like this is to include what day of the week it is (or at least weekday or weekend) and also what the high temp is supposed to be that day. I feel like those factors influence local attendance.

So basically when you rope drop you get on only one ride …. I’ll stay in bed
seems like alot of waiting anyway. All for one ride. no thanks. The queues at the end of the night are more predictable and I can watch the app for wait times. Oh yeh, and no sleep deprevity.
I like your lifestyle videos but I love the Disney ones! I like to pretend I’m there and walking around the parks. I have been there on mornings like this so I know a video like this is very helpful for those visiting to know you need a plan and a couple of back ups. I really wish they would just say early entry was 1-2 hours again instead of having guest come to the park that early and wait and see if it'll be 8:30 or earlier. It's unfair that people plan to rope drop and could show up later than the actual early entry since they assume it's 30 mins.
Honestly, what’s the advantage of early morning hours if big rides are always down or if in MK, for example, only 2/3 are open to go on?

My 10 year old and I are doing a four park challenge in a couple of weeks. We are starting at HS, as it is his favorite park and i figured it's the best one since we'll be there the longest. EE is scheduled for 8:20. What time do you think we should arrive?

Not sure I would enjoy someone screaming or yelling next to me as I tried to enjoy the rides. Hmmm.... Guess You have to be careful when getting on these rides as to who is sitting next to you. 🤣🤣🤣

I remember riding Tower of Terror one time and these foreign people did nothing but scream the whole ride, so annoying and frustrating!

Last time I did early entry to Hollywood Studios with my grandson Rise was same. They kept telling me that they were still testing it as they allowed line to fill. Not sure early entry is worth the running around

We never got to ride Rise two weeks ago when we were there but made everything else. This video makes me glad we didn’t rope drop, honestly. Rise was down 75% or the day. If it were just my husband and myself, we might’ve done ILL but our kids wanted to do other things. Someday….
We usually rope drop and go right to slinky. Then mania all before the park opens. Then go to tower and rockin cuz everyone else is going for the bigger rides.
Very helpful video. We'll be down next week and this is making us rethink early entry. Sure appears that it's hit and miss. Been there several times, it might just be time to slow down and enjoy all the parks have to offer. Keep up the great work.

Yes, I really enjoy park strategy content. (Loved the recent MK rope drop video you did). It would be great to see you do early entry at the Epcot International Gateway, to see about doing both Remy and maybe Frozen for early entry. It would be neat to compare it to the recent Epcot rope drop you did from the main entrance.

That was definitely good information on Early Entry. I was going to ask how you got in when you weren't at a resort - but I guess they counted you as checking in later that day at AKL. But it's really good to have a strategy for WDW. But also be willing to be flexible - which you were - because things can change all the time (rides breakdown, etc). I agree with you as well - the best parks to do EE is MK and HS. The other 2 are definitely more flexible. MK and HS are my favorite parks followed closely by Epcot. I know I'm weird, but I'm not a fan of AK. (don't hate me). I did enjoy your vlog at the lodge though - that was incredible! Hope you're having a great week. I always enjoy your vlogs!

When I tried rope drop at Hollywood studios a month ago, it did not go well. They made us wait until opening outside, letting only hotel guests in, until the official opening of the park. Not sure what happened! Maybe too many people?

that's how it works. disney hotel guests get to go in 30 minutes early.

We rope dropped rise last week still took 35 minutes
Hollywood Studios is best for park hopping. It’s a waste of time for rope dropping; unless it’s a special day like Star Wars or a new ride opening. Fantasmic being back and The Animation show at end of day makes RISE a 25 minute wait or less. It gives you that half hour left to hit the boardwalk to see Epcot fireworks.
The transition at the end was awesome. Great work as always.
you should take a Trip to Hershey Park in Hershey Pa it is not far from Lancaster and they have West Elem outlet , pottery barn outlet and Create and Barrel outlet …. i go to the West Elem and pottery barn outlets pretty often and they have great deals especially on holiday merch after whatever holiday so in November they will likely have Halloween stuff at big discounts

So wait, you went earlier than regular early entry? I was there for early entry last week. Went straight to Mickeys N Minnies Railway as my first early entry rope drop. They held us in line for about 5-10minutes. I decided I didn't want to rush around just to wait in line at other rides, so I rode Railway 3 times in a row, then went straight to Tower to a 15minute line. So technically 4 rides during early entry. I call it a success. Hugs to you and Casey, Carolena

Back in the old days when you where a young sprout, we just got on rides in the mornings, quickly, and could almost ride 1/2 the rides in the park before general public even entered. Oh, the good ol' days. And back then there were only half the ride there are now.
We did rope drop for slinky dog but was 30 minute wait. Seemed everyone had the same idea that morning.
