great reaction but I have a request for you please react to peyton Parrish ill make a man out of you and I don't know if he is a bass or what but he does Disney music into rock music it sounds like metal but its not oddly enough I like but also I am confused by it. also voice play did make a new song just letting you know
You have a lot to catch up with! They are simply amazing, 2 opera singers, one Broadway (Korean one) singer and one chemical engineer (yes no vocal training, he is the one singing the highest notes), all of them finalists of “The Phantom Singer” competition where hundreds of singers participated; put together by this show, they work tirelessly and spend hours if not days practicing until everything is perfect. You may want to listen to their “Bohemian Rhapsody”, “Shape of you”, “Bad Romance”, “Je suis malade”, and “Hijo de la Luna” for starters. Enjoy!
For an amazing demonstration of the high voice of counter tenor Kang Hyung Ho, who also goes by Pitta, check out the duet from Phantom of the Opera--he does both parts. He is the only member of the group who did not train as a professional vocalist. Before joining Forestella he sang with a rock band during and after college and was a chemical engineer.
Dear Mortius, I absolutely loved your reaction; you pick up on everything! The singer who sings soprano is Chang Hyungho; (also goes by stage name Pitta); you must listen to his interpretation of the Phantom of the Opera, he sings both the Phantom and Christine’s parts flawlessly, way up there. It is absolutely incredible! Also, if you have not yet, please react to “Shape of you” by Forestella; it is amazing!
hello!! Thank you Forestella Reaction. Their songs always surprise and move me greatly. I really like Reactor's detailed explanation and expression👍 I'll wait for the next forestella reaction.
I loved your reaction. Thanks to Melody for requesting this one. I'd love to see/hear your thoughts about Forestella's take on "Time in a bottle"... And also I liked you going blind into the reaction a lot :)
I also really enjoy listening to Forestella's version of 'Scarborough Fair'. When you listen to it in a concert hall, you feel like you are in heaven. 😍 Their lyrical vocals fit well with Simon & Garfunkel. Your reaction makes the viewer happy. I also recommend their 'Nella Fantasia' and 'Phantom of Opera' by Kang Hyeong-ho, who plays the soprano in this song. Looking forward to your new video. 😊
Amazing!!! Theses 3 days I’m so amazed by Forestella. Every songs they perform … can’t even find words for that. Did you listen “Je Suis Malade” by Forestella? If not, you should. You will feel it.
Thanks for your wild reaction to Forestella! I like your reaction style a lot. So curious about your reaction to their Time in a bottle because there's the rocker high pitch from the soprano guy...I know already tho, you will be blown away again! As you saw they are a classical crossover male quartet sounding like a mixed choir here. However, they can dance while singing despite they aren't Kpop idols. Their Smooth Criminal is another jaw-dropper. I love their My Favorite Things on the KBS Open Concert so entertaining like a musical piece, needs literally BLIND (eyes-closed) reaction because they diversed the characters with their voices. Count how many voices are distinguishable there with eyes-closed! It will be entertaining.
I'm thrilled Melody is getting you to listen to Forestella! Their newest one, Utopia, is (I believe) an original song, and it's AMAZING! I love watching you react to Forestella. It makes me about as happy as watching someone hear Geoff's low notes for the first time!
it is original!! and composed bu someone (i can't remember his name) who has a lot of queen influence and you can actually hear it in the song. It's opera rock, like bohemian rhapsody (They also did a cover of this masterpiece)
@Aaron Valensia Clarkson, a Dutch composer living in Valencia of Spain who had a Queen tribute album and got a hit with Gaia, composed Utopia for Forestella. BTW Takatsugu Muramatsu, one of Studio Ghibli music directors who also composed Angel for Libera boys' choir which Forestella had a remake for their 2nd album Mystique, composed Save our lives- original song of Forestella as well. Forestella said it is trilogy. Save our lives is the 1st part and Utopia is the 2nd part. In the Save our lives m/v each of them representing an element like the Fire, the Water, the Air and the Earth.
@Aaron Actually his first demo version of Utopia was named Valencia, like Barcelona by Freddie Mercury and Monserrat Caballé, a hymn for Valencia. So you can find some local spot names of Valencia in the lyrics of Utopia lol. Forestella said the behind story about Utopia on the releasing day live streaming, 22 December 2022 in official Forestella channel. They had more than 17K takes and selected 400 tracks from those. It took 2 and a half months for recording Utopia. I wanna ask how was Cho MinGyu's interpretacions on la Balada para un Loco, los Pájaros Perdidos, la Balada de Trompeta to a Spanish..and if you saw Forestella sang Maldita sea mi suerte, Shape of you (I think you already saw their Hijo de la Luna.) in Spanish too. (Shape of you in English, Spanish and isiZulu tho)
Me: I don't know what happened...I just went shopping at the Scarborough Fair and got caught by the fairies. I've been listening to the sad story for 10 hours.. I can't stop...
That was so pretty, that ending gave me chills it was just so beautiful. I'll definitely have to go watch the original because that was just gorgeous. Also for these kinds of videos, I think that going in "blind" for them would be cool because you wouldn't know what to expect from it. Thanks for the great reaction as always friend!💜
Thank you for your amazing reaction, and blind-reacts sometimes would definitely be an asset. Btw this is a medieval English ballad. Also became famous in the 70's by "Simon & Garfunkel". And FORESTELLA's version is just awesome. They are definitely the KINGS OF HARMONIES. This combination of lowest and highest pitches, unique voices and outstanding vocal skills is unbeatable. It doesn't matter what kind of song they interpret, the result is always incredible. On a whole other level, are their original m/v "Save our Live" and "Utopia". (Both a MUST SEE). Here they can really show what they are capable of.
I really enjoyed your reaction and I love the reactioner who respects singers' performances. Forestella is absolutely speechless. I really recommend shape of you or time in a bottle by Forestella. Thank you for the reaction
Short history lesson. The best known version is by Simon and Garfunkle but is a touch contreversial as for many years they didn't acknowledge where they had got it from which is frowned upon in the Folk music world. I would suggest that this version is therefore completely new as it has been reworked. I acknowledge the following is from Wikipedia. "Scarborough Fair" is a traditional English ballad. The song lists a number of impossible tasks given to a former lover who lives in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. The "Scarborough/Whittingham Fair" variant was most common in Yorkshire and Northumbria, where it was sung to various melodies, often using Dorian mode, with refrains resembling "parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme" and "Then she'll be a true love of mine." It appears in Traditional Tunes by Frank Kidson published in 1891, who claims to have collected it from Whitby. The famous melody was collected from Mark Anderson (1874-1953), a retired lead miner from Middleton-in-Teesdale, County Durham, England, by Ewan MacColl in 1947. This version was recorded by a number of musicians in the 20th century, including the version by the 1960s folk rock duo Simon & Garfunkel, who learned it from Martin Carthy. (see Wiki for more). Great reaction btw
Really enjoyed your reaction and analysis! Please react to more from Forestella- I'd highly recommend "Bohemian Rhapsody" (Queen), "Je Suis Malade" (famously covered by Lara Fabian), and "Time in a Bottle" (Jim Croce).

Great cover, and wonderful reaction! But now I feel old. You didn’t recognize that this is a cover of a Simon & Garfunkel song. My parents played their music (on 8-track tapes no less) when I was a child. Okay, I guess that was almost 50 years ago… 😂
hello!!! if you were impressed by the high Pitta tones, I think you should react to Hijo de la Luna or the Phantom of the Opera, 2 masterpieces on another level. Greetings from Chile 🇨🇱🙌
Hi from Colombia! Loving all your reaction videos. Waiting for your reaction for the OFFICIAL VIDEOS (not live performance) of "Save our live" and "Utopia".
I am normally never a fan of covers, there are VERY few exceptions, namely Disturbed’s sound of silence and PTX’s Hallelujah are two of the very few i see as equal to or better than the original. However, this was done so amazingly my brain forgot the original was a thing at one point, and the Simon and Garfunkel take on this has long been on my list of favorite songs to just put on for a good mood. So that says a lot. Absolutely incredible.
Your reaction is cool. I enjoyed. highly recomend to see the video their cover song [bohemian rhapsody]. and also must see one of the member, Kang hyung ho 's [phantom of the opera], version of rock which is so crazy. I'm so impressed by his voice switching so easily.
In fact, it's two songs in one, not a call and a response (just like the version of Simon and Garfunkel) .... a love song and a song about war. The first (main) song is a medeavil love song, the second song (what you called the response) is a protest song (based on The Side of a Hill by Paul Simon).

The first (main) song is a medeavil love song, the second song (what you called the response) is a protest song (based on The Side of a Hill by Paul Simon).

Never heard of Simon & Garfunkel. This was one of their Top 10 Billboard hits.
Thank you for your reaction. Forestella new cover song "Despacito" reaction, please❤️
Simon and Garfunkel's version is wonderful. I grew up with that version.
I tried the free link. Was unable to view without becoming a member. Not happening.
That’s so strange! I said it to be available to the public… Can you please tell me what it says when you click on that link??
@@officialmortius I get a black rectangle where the video should be, above the caption "FREE UNBLURRED REACTION"...of the post, below which is the blurb about becoming a Patreon. On the post, 3 likes are shown and a comment. So, some must be able to view it. I cannot.
it works for me
you should listen to their "Je Suis Malade" ! it will blow you away!!
Surprised Mortius didn't know this one. Classic Simon & Garfunkle. Here: ua-cam.com/video/c_T7HgZKZjo/v-deo.html
How is it you have never heard this song which was made famous by Simon and Garfunkel? And if you don't know their songs you should start reacting to them.
