It's really quite scary to think that I might have never heard of this band if not for this channel. What an amazing display of talent!
Indeed, I’m glad they’re getting exposure via this channel because I know SO many prog/djent/metal fans would absolutely love this band but no one has heard of them before! They are all insanely talented at composing AND playing their respective instruments. Bass and guitars are just as phenomenal. Enjoy!

I agree, but also there are billions of people in the world. I actually find it kind of amazing that there are so many incredible people that I couldn't possibly know about all of them. There are always more amazing things to learn of!
These guys, also Yas, are indeed amazing. Discovered them 3 months ago, their album with Wes Thrailkill is also great ( Thrailkill - Everything that is you). EDIT: one more tip, also a progressive metal band that has way too little exposure.. Ou. Ou released their debut album "One" last year, it's really unique

Love all of it, iv been fan of matts,watched his podcast,since his berkeley days, and i see you take a lil traditional grip he always refused, likely bc he thought his left hand was fast enuf, or he didnt plan on being in a headhunters cover band or kind of blue routine,...i like the emphasis on composition regardless if the drums have to do a square root of pi over imaginary numbers metre groove

We've got an apostolic drummer in our church that I grew up with, and not taking any credit from Lang Zhao's playing,but our drummer is every bit as good as him,if not better. Great video tho👍🏻👍🏻
If you're trying to show off the sound of your cymbals I would turn down the guitar in the mix, I can barely hear them.
