You should consider keeping the monkey. It is so iconic, funny and vintage. I know it does have a “child” appeal but honestly, I feel like carrying the child I have inside of me. And my son loves it. In my case, I love Ruyard Kipling and the jungle book, Mogli, etc. and I used to have my Kipling bags at 90’s. But, even it is not your case I think the iconic part really feats you just perfectly. Hi Connie, Yes I believe they all come with monkeys. They used to all be the furry ones. Now some of the bags are coming with the rubber monkeys. They are great bags. I suggest getting them on sale. The sale prices can be really great. TJ Maxx often has them. Also there are Kipling Outlets. I’m not sure if all the locations. I know there is one near Chicago in Rosemont.
