This is the same issue I had with my Z fold 3 which is why I went to the 24 ultra. The flex Cable in the hinge after being folded and unfolded so many times either breaks or comes loose. I'm not sure a case is going to do anything to protect against this. Unfortunately this is just going to be a common Trend for people that have folding phones and goes with their durability and longevity which is obviously not going to be very long.... you might get 3 years out of the phone if you're lucky I was wondering if they had fixed it with the newer models but evidently not and with the fold 6 it's still probably going to be the same problem
This is the same issue I had with the Z fold 3, which is why I was forced to upgrade to the 5. I wasn't planning on upgrading since the 5 is essentially the same phone.
I've owned every Note from it's 3rd iteration to the N20U. Only issue was with the Note7. I've owned every Fold since its 2nd iteration onward. Only issue I've had with a Fold was with my Fold3 when it randomly stopped connecting to provider and would cycle through 5G, LTE, Edge and no reception whatsoever. Over the phone was torture. Was told to bring it to an I fix you break shop. That was another waste of time. Ultimately, had to get shipped out to Samsung for a warranty repair. Took about 4 days total and it was working like new again and Ultimately traded that in for a Fold4. I would be upset if this happened to me and it would probably make me want to stay clear from the brand. I have Ins through my carrier, however if this is a recognized issue, why then should we be paying out of pocket for deductibles or repairs? Not cool. Stand by your product.
Just got my fold 4 from Samsung repairs. They definitely replaced all body. So it is hardware problem. Working fine now. Luckily my phone was still under manufacture warranty.
I have a hinge protection case that also stores my s pen. So far, I have had no connection problems. I never could understand why someone would invest in such an expensive device and not go all out to protect it.
@GregglesTV Luckily, I don’t have issues with Bluetooth or WiFi on my Fold4. And my poor Fold4 done been dropped several times. It’s the hinge itself I have an issue with.
My Z Fold 6 Bluetooth intermittently disconnects. Local service store advised it was a software issue. I now have to send it in to a Samsung technician.
Been having the good 5 since it dropped phone is in perfect condition. Rarely even open the phone ( I carry 3 phones as I work for t mobile ) so after I updated to the ui 6 or w/e Bluetooth and WiFi just quit on me🤦🏽♂️
The loose cable in the hinge can cause this issue and it can also cause damage to the display. I believe I experienced this following the update. I haven't opened my phone since last week.

Foldables just simpily have more parts that can break. Thats why I don't buy them.

Same with any Samsung phone, my s23 ultra disconnects from Wi-Fi. And this is a over a year phone.
Note 20 Ultra still running strong
Same, considering going to zfold6 though. What are your thoughts ?
@@joelsteele1786I’m considering getting it too but just slightly worried about inner screen
@@ggboss5065 same, I do feel like the tech isn't a giant leap forward compared to the note 20 u
Issuea is Samsung void warranty if You have scratches. Got same problem , they are staeling money from clients .
Same here .. device is still under warranty.. got one small neglectful scratch,, they claim this is void the warranty!
I have issues with basic signal. Have to restart the phone. Becoming annoying
This is happening on my fold 4 right after an update..
Mine, also I just fixed it
@alexhenderson5153 how you fix it? I don't fix it yet
@@SuperADI2 turn on developer option in the settings. Then turn on wi fi throttling and wifi login and reset the phone.
The phone is a total piece of shit
Interesting,I've had no issues
Cables in hinge? I dont think so...
How do you think it works across the hinge then? 2 independent phones wirelessly communicating side by side?
@@rushfortacos WiFi has nothing to do with display
@@Voltar78 who said anything about the display
