Honestly its kinda hard to argue with Mr Bohannon;s comment. I am born/raised in Montreal and definitely agree with his comment. Is there really any other province that can even compare to VAN / BC beauty ? -no way... as a mater of fact even in North America....... BC’s ridiculously beautiful
These exquisite images celebrate the wild reality that makes British Columbia one of earth's greatest natural treasures. But fly north on a clear day and you'll see the clearcuts that have devastated huge tracts of BC's forest...and the salmon farms that are degrading wild salmon runs...and the newly developing mines that threaten BC's great rivers and their incredibly valuable salmon. Ronald Berezan (commenting below) is exactly right in saying: "If we truly want to celebrate and wax poetic about the majesty of this province, then we must simultaneously act to protect it."
this video is magical I watched it 3 times in a row. literally brought tears to my eyes. British Columbia is amazing.... actually makes me want to leave London and come home.
After 1year in Toronto we took 15 days to visit Vancouver And it was the most beautiful experience ever... Sea to the sky : whistler highway.. Hiking, beaches, nature. Views...Granville market , Stanley park, grouse mountain, suspension bridge.. :).And especially The People we met. If the weather was better i LL definitely live there 4ever! We Did a canadian And a north America trip... But BC was THE Best experience...you ll find there the wild within!
I have really lost count of how many times I have seen this video. It’s inspirational, poetic and breath-taking. It starts smooth and soothing, giving a sense of the beautiful BC nature. Then it starts picking momentum with those beats in the background which are light in the beginning but starts intensifying in magnitude and speed, as one starts getting goose bumps witnessing world class natural beauty in perfect sync with some truly inspired cinematography, editing, background score and narration that takes you into a trance like state bringing smiles and tears at the same time. Hats off to the Director and all the makers of this video. I have seen so many nature videos on BC but none of them have come close to this one. If your work makes people feel emotional and attached to a place where they have never ever been and inspire them to visit it as soon as possible, then I think there can be no other testimony to the quality of it. @Destination British Columbia: Thank you so much for this out of the world video and for the inspiration that is embedded in all of your other videos! A big fan of your videos here. 😍 I love British Columbia! ❤️ I am hoping to be there soon. 🥰
I grew up in British Columbia, left unfortunately but my heart will always be part of that province, it's absolutely one of the most beautiful places to be
11 years in BC ...originally from the UK ... and this masterpiece of a production reminds me why every moment I have had here has been magic ... pure magic. I thank you for this video, it is an amazing piece ... showing my current home, Tofino ... I hope it does well promoting B.C (but not too much now ok?! we want to keep it to ourselves!)
No offense, but a bit hypocritical of you to say "keep it to ourselves" , people have a right to move wherever they wish, like you did from Uk miss. How would you of felt if someone said that to you before you came to B.C.? Probably upset right!? Im not trying to be rude i just find your comment hupocritical.
My little sister was adopted by a family that lives here. This video made me cry. It warms my heart that she got to grow up in such beauty. I grew up in Kansas so I wasn't as fortunate. However this is remarkable.
Teared up at this as a born and raised British Columbian living abroad. It really is this fantastic, and the video isn't even exaggering its beauty.. that's what's so exhilarating. I miss home.
I watched this video 3 years ago, it was a defining moment for me. I left all my life and friends behind in Quebec and headed west to this majestic place. People complain about the cost of living but i'd say you aren't truly living until you've been here. Walking among the giant mountains and trees. Earth is a paradise and BC is like Eden.
Holy crap, i have never been so amazed and felt the urge to take the next available flight to Canada as i was from watching this. B.C truly seems like a magic place, with everything you'd want around you. Awesome video!
Kysing Sandström You don't know how happy that makes us! We'd love for you to come visit. Let us know if you plan to, in the meantime keep in touch with us @hellobc on social media. Cheers!
It is beautiful. I'm from another province in Canada but when I flew out there, I nearly burst into tears when I saw the beautiful mountain hovering over the downtown. I don't have mountains where I live. And the first thing I noticed about it was how easy it was to breathe and how the air smelled like pine when I came out of the airport. It's a gorgeous place.
calm as the sea, every assurance to feel alive and find peace within, natural and satisfying. owww how i love to see, feel and be part of this experience.
I sat and watched this in late November of 2015. After watching it i knew i had to visit. The following summer i went to BC for three weeks. Kayaking out of Telegraph Cove, visiting the Whistler area - driving along the coastline and flying in a seaplane over Vancouver and the surrounding area. It is truly the most beautiful, abundant, green and gorgeous place i have ever been. Possibly the best trip of my life. So thank you @destinationbritishcolumbia
Thank you so much for sharing this amazing story with us, Mark. We love to hear that you explored different areas and used different transportation methods (kayaking and a seaplane ride to name a couple). Do you have any plans to come back to BC and explore some more one day? If you have any questions or need some suggestions, feel free to let us know. :)
British Columbia is easily my favorite province in Canada. Absolutely stunning geography! Most of my family lives out there and I plan on moving out there too. It's my home away from home for now. Vancouver Island and the Okanagan are absolutely amazing! As an Albertan, I have nothing but the upmost regard for British Columbia. I always look forward to going back there.
I've watched this 20 times easy and I still get goose bumps. I couldn't sum up our beautiful province any better. It is truly magical to be surrounded more mountains and water than you could explore in 10 life times.
I've already watched it 4 times and I can't get enough. This is the best tourism video I have ever seen. I love the script. The music is dead on. No need to mention how amazing those visuals are. I'm sharing on Facebook on as many tourism pages as I can get my hands on. Super. Natural. British Columbia.
I have lived in BC for 20 years now. I say 'thank you'' all day, every day due in large part to feeling so inspired by my surroundings. In a 3 month span this past summer (2017) I biked around the 10.5 km Stanely Park seawall 310 times just for fun (while also working full time) .This is place where you can truly get your mojo on...in so many different ways.
Born and Raised here in Beautiful British Columbia, I could not be more proud to call this part of the world home especially as an Aboriginal. I take in each and every single day and not only enjoy it myself but as a Tourism Student, I truly care about sharing this part of the world to you! #ToFindTheWildWithin #TheCalling #exploreBC #AboriginalTourism #TourismStudent
Jonathan Moses, what a lovely comment - thanks for that! We're proud to share this place we call home with our passionate locals, like yourself! Hopefully we've inspired you to #exploreBC this weekend! ;)
I spend a week staying in Surrey,BC and exploring all these beautiful places around. I wasn’t able to experience all of them but I would say I visited the most of them. Today I am back in Toronto and cried the whole evening missing BC and its divine quality.I am moving there after a few months. ❤️❤️
I feel so blessed as well. It's unfortunate that 97% of large old growth trees have been clear cut and the government is allowing the remainder to be logged. #savefairycreek #oldgrothblockade
I am really glad I grew up and continue to live in this beautiful place. As I get closer to 60, I reminisce about the old days, and think about all the changes I have seen since the 60's. I will never move anywhere else because there is so much to see in this wonderful province. Even the lower mainland area out to Hope is amazing! The only real negative thing for me is the escalation in real estate prices. I bought in before the huge hikes in real estate, but I worry for younger people living here. Great video!
I'm an Albertan import... I love life here this side of the Divide. I just wanted to express what an incredible job Destination BC have done with this new campaign. This film is stunning. Congratulations.

I can't help but notice, but was your profile pic taken at the middle lake in Joffre Lakes Provincial Park, just outside of Pemberton, British Columbia? I recognize the deep blue aqua waters and that particular mountain landscape. Been there twice and I love it there! Stunning scenery!
Hey, yes it is, it's a stunning place! I actually have a video from our hike there on my channel if you wanted to check that out, bring back some memories :)
This video makes me proud to call myself a British Columbian. Where else can we experience temperate rainforests and semi-arid deserts in the same relative region? Absolutely amazing.
Good ONE It’s not that crazy. I live on the island and it’s a little more expensive but not to the point where it’s not doable. Pretty much the same as when I lived in Ottawa.
Awesome!!!! The wet coast of Canada in all its glory!! So glad to have been born, raised and living in this amazing truly Super Natural region of the Pacific Northwest! Don't get me wrong, every region has it's own beauty and most people think the region they grew up in is the most beautiful (and many can't stand the fall/winter/early spring nearly continuous rain storms of the Pacific Temperate Rainforest) but for me this is heaven on earth and I couldn't imagine living in any other region and in the past have turned down many lucrative career offers that would have meant moving to Ontario, California, Utah, Nevada and Alberta. Life is too short and I value my preferred lifestyle far higher than any career opportunities! Super Natural BC! :-)

That's because its the best province

This is the best tourism video of them all. Period. It gives me the chills everytime I watch it.
It actually brought a tear to my eye. And I've never been! (yet)
her voice is so impressive too
it's so powerful to me and clear
WOW, just wow, you made a grown man cry, it's unbelievable. I'm doing everything I can to make this place my new home.
The voiceover artist here is so so good. Bravo to her work and the directorial choices! And my god BC is the bessssst.
