    I wonder why they are so different in Norway vs. Sweden. Here in Sweden (in way too few places, though), they are sold in two different moped versions (both class 1, which means maximum 45 km/h) and of course, the motorcycle version as well. The two mopeds are called S02 Urban and S02 Premium.
    Urban: 2 kWh battery, 1,6 kW motor, 2 driving modes, regenerative braking only in Eco mode.
    Premium: 5,6 kWh battery, 3,9 kW motor (it's actually the HS model (High Speed, that's the motorcycle) but with limited speed and power (yes, I asked), 3 driving modes, regenerative braking in Eco and Sport mode.
    No 5,6 kWh 2 kW combination available here, as far as I'm aware.
    I also recently found out that Seat MÓ 50 (45 km/h moped) is now available here in Sweden (where they sell Seat cars). It's actually a speed limited Silence S01 with a 5,6 kWh battery, and a 4 kW motor, and it has room for two full-face helmets under the seat! On the web page it says it has 2 driving modes, but I checked, it has 3, just like the MÓ 125 (Silence S01). They didn't have a demo so I didn't test drive it.

    • @fejlux
      @fejlux 4 місяці тому

      Are you aware of a way to remove the speed limiter on the silence s02 premium? In Sweden!
      What would the top speed? Around 90km/h?

    • @johnnyrosenberg9522
      @johnnyrosenberg9522 4 місяці тому +2

      @@fejluxNo, sorry, I wouldn't do that, so I didn't bother to find out if it's possible. It's probably possible, but who knows how…
      Since I wrote my other comment, months ago, I went all the way south to Helsingborg (about 220 km from where I live, but still the closest reseller) and did a short test drive. The top speed was 46 km/h according to the speedometer, but my GPS app on my phone said… 41! So that's an inaccuracy of about 12 %! That means that if it shows 90 km/h it's actually about 80 km/h.
      Even driving it, it felt a little like my moped feels like when the air pressure in my tyres are too low, so maybe that's the reason, so I asked about that and as usual when you ask questions about electric mopeds you get no proper answers, because they sell cars and they neither know nor care about mopeds. I also asked if they could adjust the speed limit to fit reality but the answer to most of my questions was of the Swedish saying kind: ”goddag - yxskaft” (meaning that the answer has nothing to do with the question asked).
      So don't ask any questions, they don't know anything anyway, and they won't understand your question anyway.

    • @fejlux
      @fejlux 4 місяці тому

      Haha tack för informationen!
      Har fått hjälp av en som säger att det är möjligt att ta bort spärren och även ställa in en annan spärr om man vill begränsa till exempelvis 70.
      Dock rätt komplicerat, man måste koppla ihop den med en pc via egentillverkad sladd.
      Sen kan man öppna inställningar via ett program på datorn och ställa in!
      Omständigt, på de flesta kinesiska mopeder håller man bara in bromsen och rör om nyckeln så är man i mål, haha!
      Min plan var att ställa in den på 55km/h.v

    • @johnnyrosenberg8674
      @johnnyrosenberg8674 Місяць тому

      @@fejlux I eventually bought the Seat MÓ 50 (which really is a Silence S01/Seat MÓ 125, limited to 45 km/h and with slightly less features, for instance no app connection and no 12 volt outlet).
      I don't know if the S02 uses the same controller as the S01 and if it has an OBD port hidden somewhere. If the answer is yes, then I know of a way to set the top speeds for each mode and other things. You need an OBD to USB adapter cable, a Windows PC and the right software. You have to know what you're doing though, otherwise you might destroy your controller.
      I haven't tried it yet, since I'm happy with most of the factory settings, maybe I would want a little more regeneration and adjust the throttle sensitivity a bit.
      I might come back when I did some tests.

    • @GoldenCroc
      @GoldenCroc Рік тому +2

      City range is almost impossible to quantify outside of the standard vehicle EU cycle test. Oslo is far from the same as paris, never mind how much the traffic intensity changes the parameters. But for the measly 6km you do every day, this will easily go a week without charge even in Paris.
