This is the most comprehensible overview to my ears....Thank you Thank YOU.....because I was sitting here just looking at the darn knobs!! starting to get impatient not fully getting how it works... The dealers and tech support never really fully explain this dynamic maschine....You're an excellent teacher Tasherre!!!
Not to knock the Mikro, but I've owned it for 5 weeks and out grew it to the point of where it was getting in the way of creating. Moved up the Maschine this evening and have to say this thing blows my mind by how simple, straight forward and easy it is to create, adjust, and mix anything. Kicking myself for not going large to begin with! Really this thing just gets out of the way and lets you create, so simple. No more trying to focus my old eyes between the monitor and controller.
I just paused the video at 1:14 just to thank you for this tutorial. I haven't even gone into depth of the video and all ready I've learned show much by how you presented/presenting it. Great job!!!!!!!
I'm pretty sure you already know my answer. Truthfully, it doesn't matter where you start, just get started. From a workflow and ease of use standpoint. Definitely Maschine.
Wow, seems to me this video is a nearly flawless, perfect presentation of information. The whole Maschine front panel is explained in a logical, efficient and clear flow of information along with great video/audio production values. Also, the presenter has a naturally great speaking voice and articulates all his words very clearly. I'll be checking out the website to see how the other products compare to this. If only other tutorial productions (on any subject) were more like this one....
This was absolutely educational and knowledge friendly! I truly thank you for taking the time to introduce the Maschine MK2 and its features. Please keep them coming Fam!
Just wanted to chime in and say I had a Skype tutoring session with Tasherre today and it was worth every penny (and then some). Thanks again, Tasherre!
Thanks m8 this is the kind of tutorial I've been in search of easy to follow and understand perfect for a dumb arse like myself very much appreciated simple hands on and informative
Thank you Tasherre. Im saving up to get an mk2, but in the mean time im familiarizing myself with the maschine so by the time I buy it Ill be ahead of the curve, your videos help immensely.
awesome video! very clear and professional! This is a very complicated instrument and i am glad you are making videos that show how to use it. Very good voice over with clear audio too!
Very well made video, getting an mk2 by friday, so I want to learn how to use it in time. Will definitely be watching the rest of your videos to find out!
Very simple, dude. Hold down the Pattern button, in the left screen above the first knob you'll see the current pattern length. Turn that knob to the number of bars you'd like. You can also use the second button to easily Double that number of bars as well. To see it in a video, hit my site and look up Extend, Navigate, Drag & Drop.
Ay appreciate the tip... Im gonna try it now! Once I get the basics Im gonna hire you for the tutor session... I got a million questions for you. I just wanna make sure I got the basic functions first so I could get the advance jewels... Im gonna need the whole hour. But I been banging my brain for a week trying to figure how to record more then one bar... lol I will be in touch soon.
it definitely worked... i was good for about 2 minutes and then it went back to 1bar loop... idk.. I must me doing something unaware. Im just not a tech!...lol you will be hearing from me soon... I just want to wait until me protools software is loaded up and I will be reaching out for those sessions... i need it. thanks for the help g!
I know nothing about FL, but yes, Maschine does have that feature. Look for my video "Sampling from CPU and Choke Groups". It's an older video, but it answers your question.
i just wanted to say "great tutorial". if definitely made me confident and comfortable before making my purchase. i got my mk2 about 2 weeks ago and loving it. music has always been a huge part of my life and i decided to take that passion to another level. i want to be able to express myself with this maschine the best way i can. any advice or sources i can check as far as getting to know my machine inside and out and designing beats as well. greatly appreciated!!!
I just got mine, and yeah, they are way more sensitive, I thought it was marketing hype, but without it plugged in you can feel the sensor touch if you tap real soft - the other buttons with the click are harder to push now, though, the old ones were jelly and easy push, I get double clicks on the rec button for instance. Also the knobs have less resistance, which idk if that's an improvement, but w/e.
Hey, how do you Sync a sample to match the current BPM? For example the The sample BPM is 62 but the sample drums are 83. Is there a way to sync it on the MK2 without chopping the drums up and manually trying to piece it together? Thanks for any assistance!
Thanks for presentation.I am looking forward to buy some sampler/sequencer.I have question for Maschine owners. Does sqare orientation of pads bother you in sequencer mode and would you prefer in one line?
How do feel about the MK2 Limited Edition v Mashine MK3 plus I haven't upgraded to the Mk3 because it seem limited to what the Mk2 limited edition can do.
Very good video. To the point, as we like it :D Can't wait till i have my Maschine! Any idea though when the MK3 is coming out? I want to wait for the upgrade...
what happens when i turn the machine mk2 on and it does not go pass control mode...i can play the pads in the maschine software and trigger the unit with the software ware but i cant seem to switch it to any other function other than the control mode?
Man I learnt so much more than other UA-cam tutorials already. Thanks a lot.
Love how you so detailed it be seeming like other producers don't really be wanting to show u what's going on
