I recently bought like 5 new foundations (even though I already have like 30+ foundations) so I definitely need to ease up on the over buying of products “just to try them”. I don’t make makeup content and I keep trying to keep up with people who do. Which is crazy because I’m just spending money. So thank you for actually talking about unnecessary products that are just hyped up on social media.

I made a resolution to do the same next year because I was buying g products “to test” and I do not make content so my collection is abnormally large 🤦🏽♀️
I don’t buy to test it but I buy it when everyone says “it’s so good” and I haven’t found not one thing that “is so good” that it justifies buying so many of the same things. I do have some things that I love and I need to do a better job of just loving what I love and realize there’s not always something better. But that’s a fine line. Sometimes there might be something that’s lovely that I will love. Conundrum.

The Kosas concealer also starts to smell like crayons after only a few months of use. It definitely has a short shelf life 🤷♀️
It sat like curdled milk on my skin 🤢. One of the worst concealers I’ve tried.
Anything that doesn't have preservatives in it will do this. I want my preservatives! I keep stuff way longer than they say to!! 😂😂
Eeewww! How gross! Bad enough that many of my MAC lipsticks are beginning to smell like crayons or something, but a concealer that goes in the eye area? Oh heck no!!!
same with their cloudset powder-- it smelled horrible after 6 months which i've NEVER experienced with powder products

Every time you talk about that primer, I have to check the video upload time bc i’m like, “Wait, have I watched this one already?” I think it also speaks to your honesty that your opinions on the same products remain consistent!
I work outside and need a sweat proof sunscreen. I mix the drunk elephant drops with my zinc based sunscreen. It gets rid of that weird white cast and gives it a beautiful glow.
What sunscreen do you like for working outside? I am struggling to find something that doesn’t burn my eyes with a high SPF. I already wear a sun hat, but the pre-cancer spots on my face say that I need more than just a hat.

Know what the O/S setting spray is great for? Setting your neck and chest when you need to bring your products down for a better cohesive look. Not he face, but definitely those other areas.

I clicked on this because I'm addicted to the lip butter balm, but I never wear this out as a makeup product, I only use it at home as a skincare product. I find this is so much more hydrating than other lip product. The naturium one is not a true dupe because it's thicker and doesn't moisturize as much and the effect does not last as long. I will keep purchasing the butter balm, it's so yummy and pleasurable for the senses and it does a good job of hydrating the lips for a long time.

Love the REFY primer especially on my oily skin. For that I look past the roller etc. At 40, being oily, products that work are hard to find. Loving the videos Morgan. Silent viewer for a long time.

Drunk Elephant Bronzi drops make my skin tone look more even. I mix it with whatever moisturizer or sunscreen that I'm using. I like these kinds of videos because they help us to save some money!

I spent so many years using hairspray as setting spray, that the One Size doesn’t bother me. I use it everyday.
That must be why the O/S doesn't bother me, either. As an 80's teenager, we ALL carried AquaNet in our purse every day. I'm immune to hairspray 😅

Hi Morgan I recommend a drugstore brand for a great stick foundation it’s the Maybelline Fit Me shine free and balance stick foundation. It’s creamy, medium to full coverage, has a natural finish and beautiful on the skin and under $10 . I have mature, oily skin and it’s really a nice foundation.
I mix the bronzi drops with my mineral sunscreen so it doesn't leave a white cast. It works well and I like it.
Hey Morgan! Would you mind doing a painted by james palette/sponge/brushes review or a doing Meredith Duxbury’s routine (foundation with hands, lys bronzer, her morphe collar palette). I think those would be super fun ideas to watch and for you to do!

The elf lip oils are just ok, they are pretty at first but then dry out my lips. I really like the new Too Faced lip gloss oil! Thank you for all your hard work giving us the best content 🤍🤍

I live in AZ. In the summer when Temps are over 112, you can just forget about wearing fountain. Adding the Bronzi drops to the moisturizer I'm going to use anyways, ensures I get a nice even tone to my face. Lucky for me, the color works well for me.

Hello Morgan, the way I use the refy primer is as follows: I bought a long glass dropper, I remove the lid, take the product that I am going to use only once and close the product again, with this I prevent the If the product becomes contaminated, I wash the dropper again and sterilize it, then I store it in a container in the small refrigerator that I have with my facial products; It is annoying to a certain extent but I have to finish the product, I do this with all the rollers that go directly on the face, like with the strivectrin serum for the neck, I hope this idea helps you. Funny, I just purchased the Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm in Vanilla today. Walking around the mall and strolled into Sephora….I couldn’t NOT buy anything. I also bought the Merit single shadow In Vanchetta. I like both products. I agree that the lip balms are overpriced. I bought a 3 pack of Naturium lip balms from Target for $27. The Sunday Friday lip balm was $24. The Naturium lip balms are a bit stickier, imo, but it is still quite nourishing. I like the color choices in the Naturium line.
The LYS Beauty No Limits Cream Bronzer and Contour Stick is something I did want to try but they're always out of the shade motivate. My favorite drugstore foundation stick that I tried and love is the Wet N Wild Photo Focus Stick Foundation. The Elf Lip Oils I'm getting

Just purchased the Tom Ford stick foundation in 6.0 Natural from Harrods Beauty, it maybe a little bit light but I'm going to make it work if it is and hopefully it'll be a really skin like finish for me as I don't like a heavy complexion finish. Thank You 🌟

You should have mentioned your skin type and that it won't work for some but will work for others at the beginning of the video. I totally agree with the fact that some viral products are meh but still it would have been nice to know. and close-ups would be nice lol.
Thank you Morgan! I found that all makeup primers don’t work for my skin. The only way for me is to set my skin with matte powder in t-zone before applying foundation. And I always carry bloating paper in my purse to fix my oily zones during the day. So many makeup products are useless and make no sense these days. 🤷♀️

I had the Kosas concealer a while back and it was great as long as I didn't use it near my under eyes because I had the same exact problem. It just pointed a giant neon arrow at my fine lines lol! Like damn 🤣Then it went bad after three months and I felt super ripped off with that price point lol.

I get what ur saying w the de bronzing drops but there really are no direct dupes for them bcs of the skincare included in the product. I’ve noticed such a difference in the way my skin feels since using them. And tbh, paying 38$ for something that is gonna last me a year is a ok. Additionally, again I get what ur saying w the pixi on the glow sticks, but they really aren’t meant for a full glam face of makeup moment. And like I totally get that that’s what ur into but for ppl like me that just wanna throw smth on without lots of foundation and stuff it’s perfect. I do prefer the blush over the bronzer though. Also, I love your videos so much. You seem so sweet and I’ve been watching ur vids for over a year now! ❤😊😊😊

We all have different skin and live in different climates, what works for one won't work for another so it's a hut and miss with products until they start to market towards skin type in their advertising 🫤

i bought the elf lip oil its not a dupe for the dior i prefer the dior personally because i love that it is thick but not as thick as a gloss and it hydrates my lips so deeply the elf one is good but i foud it wears off faster which means i need to reapply it more which means i need to get a new one faster. if i cant find my dior ill use it but it doesnt stand out to me. also the aplicator does not pick up product as evenly as the dior i dont why.
The roller on the primer (if you're the only one using it) shouldn't transfer germs (although if you have a big fat juicy pimple.....hummm however, if you run hot water over it after you use it, does that flush the product out of the roller and clean it, ready for next use.. have you tried that????😊

I literally bought the elf lip oil today😢
with the one size setting spray it doesn’t give any hydration or anything and after my powders i like a hydrating setting spray to help melt my powders into my face so i’ll go in with a more hydrating setting spray then follow with one size for the all day wear effect. and it works a lot better especially if you have a dry skin type

For an oily girl, that one size spray is worth it.
I would rather squeeze the primer out, on a dish, and then using it, the Refy annoys me, it doesn’t roll properly for me, and then I don’t get the amount that I want

I was DEFINITELY de-influenced by that Refy primer. There’s no way I’m putting that on my skin. I won’t even go near the Charlotte Tilbury tube blushes because I hate the sponge applicator concept. I’m really big on not breaking out and my skin is hella sensitive to contaminating products like those. so I’m definitely not interested in that. I have the ONE/SIZE spray - that’s a keeper! I wasn’t interested in the Elf lip oil because I really like the Lawless and Jaclyn Cosmetics ones. That brow product you mentioned - definitely NOT trying that. My tried and true is the Boy Brow by Glossier and I’ve been dipping my hand in the Hourglass one. KOSAS is a no-go. Tower 28 all the way. I can see why you’re not feeling the LYS bronzer stick - and if you have faulty packaging, that’s one thing. It’s definitely a creamy consistency which does help with the blend, but I would NEVER leave this in any car. One it’s a great makeup product but two: I live in Las Vegas. So you don’t leave ANYTHING in your car here! lol.
I’m such a fan of the Tower 28 mascara that I want to try all their stuff. I still want a really good “plump” gloss, and I remember there used to be a ton of them that would make the lips look smooth and full. Where’d they all go??
I love the Lawless forget the filler glosses too and the Jaclyn Cosmetics lip drip oil is my favorite of the lip oils I’ve tried. They don’t last long though-meaning it takes no time to go through the whole tube. I want to try the Clarins Lip Comfort lip oil.

If you want to finish the primer, just cut bottom off and put in a different container.
I love LYS for underpainting. All the issues for on top of foundation is a giant plus for under my foundation. Also I think your packaging is a dud. I don't have that problem with mine not going down.

Random but does anyone know why Kosas discontinued their face tint oil? Went to repurchase and had to get it from a different site 😢
I make my own. I mix some loose mineral powder into my face balm (you can use just oils if you like). Works great! Gotta play with amounts and the oils (I use tallow, jojoba and olive oil) but once you get the right amounts and the right oils for your skin, it is amazing.

I don’t know for the other products because I don’t have them but for the Kosas concealer you are so right! Fortunately for me, I only received a sample of it in the right color, actually I received several colors on a card and one was perfect for my skin tone, but it accentuated so much my fine lines, lines that I didn’t even know I had. And I tried it on the rest of my face: it was a catastrophe as well, so I just don’t get it. I have a rather dry skin. Maybe it’s ok for very oily skin? I don’t understand how people may love it… ?
