Grew up watching go diego and remember the first time these species were mentioned many times in many episodes and have just had a special place in my heart for them ever since
"Travis (October 21, 1995 - February 16, 2009)[3] was a male common chimpanzee who, as an animal actor, appeared in several television shows and commercials, including spots for Pepsi,[4] as well as on television programs including The Maury Povich Show and The Man Show.[5][6] On February 16, 2009, Travis attacked and mauled his owner's friend in Stamford, Connecticut,[7] blinding her, severing several body parts and lacerating her face, before he was shot and killed by a responding police officer.[8] The incident became an international news story." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Travis_(chimpanzee)
No matter how cute any animal is, it should be left to its" own natural environment. Nature, National Geographic and others highlight our diverse planet for the betterment of all animals, including us.
The Dallas Aquarium has pygmy marmosets. They are so adorable. I love the Dallas Aquarium and I think it rivals the Seattle Aquarium even though the Seattle Aquarium has a giant octopus. The Dallas Aquarium has such lovely animals and sea life. It has reptiles like crocs and alligators. It has otters too. It is all air conditioned and lovely. Dallas is a good city. The Fort Worth Zoo is one of the best in the country and Dallas has a lovely zoo as well. I think I am starting to miss Texas.
Legend has it that the Pekingese is the result of a romance between a lion and a marmaset. The lion fell in love with a marmaset and asked the Buddha to shrink him down in size so he could be with his true love. As a result of this union, the Pekingese was born. I love Pekingese and I love this story.
I'm here due to a BS Reddit (as usual) post, "Meet the Pygmy Titi, the smallest monkey on Earth." Which showed a *baby* #PygmyMarmoset and strangely used the name 'titi'. There's 2 species: #WesternPygmyMarmoset (#CebuellaPygmaea), and #EasternPygmyMarmoset (#CebuellaNiveiventris) - (>100g) not sure which is the actual smallest of the two. FYI, the smallest primate is Madame #BerthesMouseLemur (#MicrocebusBerthae), (30g). These are the actual facts.
They’re cute but also scare the shit out of me like it’s got such intricate proportions and way too human looking and also that small??? Like doesn’t that unnerve people who keep them as pets??? It’s already unethical but Christ do they freak me out a bit. I wish there was a live stream of those cameras tho that’s super interesting and cool that it’s not super intrusive too
Nature is a bit evel from the human sight wen cute small animals are envolved. But,... the human can get this cute ones in cages taking theyr essence of wild animals. Not noticing atrocities to many other animal specie
So adorable I hope they can be saved I have to say though if treated properly I think it might be ok as a pet definitely small and adorable enough to love as one of the family 💕 but it is wrong to take them essentially hostage.
Now people feel cuteness in them tmrw they ask their father for one of them. After that demand increases for them porches catches them as baby or kills them for skin they go extinct in the wild finally you see them in the videos
Marmoset: scratches its butt
Humans: Gorgeous...
😂

I found out about the cotton top tamarin due to that show
Also whale sharks
It's not good when you are called snack-sized by someone lol.
My favorite part was at the very end when he grabbed the little dead bug hanging off of the web.
They are so impressive when you see them in the wild. They jump, run and scamper so fast you can hardly keep your eyes on them
Aww they are so beautiful.I love all types of monkeys.

Such beautiful little creatures. Love watching vids on them.
I’ve seen Pygmy marmosets in the zoo. They’re so tiny you could hardly see them among the branches and leaves. They’re super cute.
Lady Marmoset... gitchi gitchi ya ya ta ta
They are called pygmy monkeys for a reason.
🐒

I’m just wondering how small and fragile can be.. is just adorable
Man alive, the camera work on this is gorgeous! Wow guys, just wow.
You know, I saw one in a veterinarian's hospital, but it couldn't come out of its cage until treated! I couldn't even touch it!
"It's ok... it's just a hawk... Thought it was a Jehovah's Witness for a sec.. s'all good now."
They are so adorable
More footage of the animals, less footage of the filmmakers.
Thanks, PBS Nature 👍
October 16, I never miss Nature or Nova. 💕
Timeless moment....its a miracle of the nature....
Nature is itself created, not creator
Product of evolution through natural selection
Fascinating, that dark side of nature got to love it, the fight for survival.
Would love to have these guys scampering around instead of squirrels and chipmunks
For real 😂
Would you rather have these monkeys shriek rather than a squirrels...do squirrels even make sounds?
@@Jovenza2 squirrels can get pretty loud. Probably the same amount as a Pygmy marmoset
Squirrels and chipmunks are lit wtf 🤣
I seen the pygmy marmoset on Go Diego Go🙈🙉🙊🐵
So precious!

I agree, and that goes for all animals, let's shove all those homo sapiens back into the wild- they don't belong in cities.

Why do they look so confused 99.99% of the time
Freaking adorable!!! 💞🥰🐵🙈🙉🙊🐒
This is presumably where the inspiration for fingerlings came from. 😆
Defo
Finally we remain with only videos no species survive in the forest
I saw this in zoo! They were the baby ones and they were so cute
If I had one of these I would train it to play one of those my arcade mini arcade cabinets
Snack-sized monkeys are adorable.
Is the best to watch anytime Love it
Yeah we have come a long way as a species. Well done. May the co-operation continue... :D
The marmoset fears the big black hawk.
We may not be able to get these but they have clones named finger monkeys
Snack size monkeys hahahaha
😂
They are very special and very small in the animal kingdom.
Very cute
What is that on 2:29 in the middle of the screen? I thought that the monkey saw the snake, but I am not sure what is that... Maybe a tree?
1:08 Just a vine, or something. Possibly was wrapped around a branch once, leaving it with strange kinks.
