I sometimes make it that way but usually fish Shamrock Cove, Kate's Hole and the upper Upper Laguna Madre. Try to fish at least one day a week with my boy........he's now 45 years old but still my boy.
@skunkedagain I know giving away your spots is not always given. But man Iam a sports fisherman CPR I’d like to take my boy to this spot would you mind sharing... those fish look like they are fun to catch. PM if you be willing to share. I don’t coast very much....

Oh, thanks for the explanation Robert. We're on the North side of Redfish Bay, closer to Rockport. Looking at the layout, it looks like a similar situation as Sunray channel. Tim
