One of the best Miami hurricane football and sports in general shows in town, congratulations brother, Keep it coming we need your information on a daily basis.
The turning point was when the U Health Center was able to show significant profits, whereby allowing the school to invest massive amounts into the athletic department.
Kirk composed a beautiful symphony out of all our cries! In my opinion, he should win the next Grammy awards hands down. The only problem is only true Miami fans can hear it.😂
Herbie Loves the Canes. I agree with your point of view. Now let's see 👀 how the LEADERSHIP structure develops on the team. Call them out Brother. Our Canes have been a dumpster 🔥 for at least 15yrs. It's been brutal, but I'm still here HOOAH. Go Canes
Miami goes 2-1 vs Texas AM and Clemson. Miami loses at death valley but avenges that loss in the ACC championship game. Cristobal gets signature win early on vs Texas AM. 💥 #GOCANES 🔥
I use to tell people "Golden was given the Keys to a Ferrari but had no clue how to drive it!" That doesn't mean that I don't have tons of respect for him staying through sanctions and showing solid integrity as a man and coach. We beat Clemson and lose big in College Station.
Yeah because they're gonna get a lot of home cooking and wonder why we keep playing SEC teams when we know they gonna cheat for them like they did with LSU, UF and Alabama last year! It's always a ton of missed calls and bad call going against Miami every time we play them!
@@keithsirmans4556 not cause of home cooking. That's will be the loudest and wildest place ANY of our guys have EVER played in. AND A&M has much more big game experience w playing teams like Ga and Bama. Even Jimbo has coached in bigger games than Mario. It's gonna take time to develop that here at Miami.
@@Canesfootball Mario has went into horseshoe and dominated OSU and he has been on the Bama coaching staff so he knows big games! I have watched how the SEC teams get the benefit of the doubt against Miami like last year all the bullshit no calls against Bama the intentional grounding in the endzone that was a no call and the multiple PI and targeting calls that were not called. I watch the game within the game.
I'll believe till the day I die that a high places alum got Kirk to drop that bomb. Someone that Kirk had a Strong friendship with so that Kirk would do what he did. I don't completely buy Kirk did it on his own but for someone he is close to and Strongly attached to the U.
The call out by Herbstreit in my opinion was out of love and as you said this expression of love put a lot of things in motion as we witnessed today. We lived in the past and couldn't see other programs progress because of our stubbornness and pride. But after many ass whuppings we realize that this is a new day.The Herbstreit comment and Cudo's to Barry Jackson for exposing the program we now know that we cannot live on past glories. When the U wins it is good for not only Miami but for sports because America in its infancy struggled but overcame many obstacles because as a people we believed. In our winning days we never had the facilities as other power 5 schools but we believed in hard work, competition and love. So we wonder why former players continue to come to practices and show concern ? Do the math. Go Canes!!!
Exactly I would rather have Miami beat Texas A&M and lose the Clemson. The reason being is Miami has a chance of winning their side of the ACC and refacing Clemson and beating them at the end of the year when a team has a lot more experience. That would ensure a playoff for Miami.
I would like to thank Herbstreit personally for saying something. I believe those that were upset with him, were a bunch of kids that knew nothing of The U. They only know recent years. So to me, how they feel doesn't matter, cause most of them were still in diapers. Something had to be said, and I felt he was the perfect one to say it, on that platform. He does deserve a statue. He was tired of how it was going in Miami, like the rest of us older fans were. I finally feel relieved that things are finally starting to happen. I'm really excited for the new stadium.
Hey sorry for being annoying with that. I would never tease something that’s breaking news. Breaking news always goes right in the title. Most of this episode was me editorializing the evolution of the athletic department over the past 8 months, so I titled the episode in a way that would hope to intrigue people to watch.
Yes, Miami was 7 and 5 after starting 2 and 4. Miami in 4 of its 5 loses didn't get destroyed. They had a chance to win those games well into the 4th qtr. Now if Miami was 7 and 5 but they were blow out 3 out of 5 or 4 out of 5 loses, you can say pump the brakes and its a total 2 to 3 year rebuilt. Miami has the most important piece which is a starting QB/dude. If you believe that doesn't matter, look at Alabama. They lose to Arkansas, LSU and Auburn with Young. They get crushed by Texas A&M. LSU and Auburn were crushed by injuries when they played Alabama along with playing 3rd string QB against Alabama.
@@pnut3844able BS! If Miami was 2 and 10 or 4 and 8 last year with 5 loses of getting destroyed, I would say your 100% correct. That isn't want happen last year. They already have the most important piece which is an above average to elite college QB who looks like and has performed like a NFL prototype starting QB/franchise QB with his talent, leadership and will to win.
@@arronfrazier7873 a QB is still just one man. It's all new coaches, new offense and defense, new players, new culture, everything. Even Mario said it's gonna take time. Y'all need to give the man time to do this right, bc if this doesn't work out, we don't recover from this and the program is dead.
I bet kirk is a fan of the Canes. For his job is stays neutral. From a forty year canes fan. I will forever be grateful for what kirk said on national TV.
GAME BALL to K. HERBSTREIT. When The U wins it 6th title take a look at giving Kirk an Honorary UM Statue. It's sad that the administration back in early 90's didn't reward the program with new locker rooms then after 4 titles in 9 years. We Grind on. GO CANES!

Blah blah blah being saying this for year. Cristobal did little at Oregon................Willie Taggart was great there to wasn't he. A lot of hype but little will change.
I believe Kirk needs to keep his big 👃 nose out of Miami business. He is a former Ohio State Buckeye. He has never played for a national championship team. Kirk has won how many super 🥣 bowls how about 0. Is knowledge on football is null. Kirk is fortunate to have a job with his so called expertise. He has how much coaching experience? How about none.

I have to disagree. Herbstreit has only been critical of Miami when it was deserved. The only bias I've seen from him is when Ohio St is involved BUT why wouldn't he?

Absolutely. But even then it took them a while to figure out they should be spending some of that $$ on athletics haha
Thank God for Herbie!!!

I think he's just a college football fan. He knows that miami on top is good for the sport.
Dude, kirk loves Miami, and all ways has, so yeah, I think he is a canes fan.
Kirk has always shown love to Miami. I agreed with him when he said it. All CANES Fans should thank him. We are on our way back now. Let go CANES!!!

Watch the old games and you see great tackling & guys flying to the ball. Every back and receiver knew he was going to get hit by 4 or 5 guys.
Watching old games gets me so pumped up. Seeing guys like Sean Taylor, Ed Reed, Vilma, Ray Lewis, Michael Barrow… so good
Alex always 🔥🔥🔥 content thank you
Thanks so much, Chris!
One thing you got wrong bud. Dan Rad didn't help build Clemson. It was already built up when he came into the program.
Great job
Thank you!
we still need to find a spot for Ed Reed
If they can find face smart & physical linebacker that can control the d-line and safeties who knows the possibilities.
Agreed however the tackling certainly has to improve by a lot and that’s still a major concern that I have.
New sub. I’m as thirsty as the next Canes fan. But you gotta give this coaching staff the 1st season to gel. My judgement starts game 1 2023.

Utterly absurd it took a former Buckeye to light a fire underneath the collective ass of the University to do something about the football program.
