- Linda Waterfall had a huge impact on singer-songwriters of the Seattle area and beyond. She was alway stretching musical boundaries as is evident in the 11/4 meter that much of this song is in. This song “The Hand of the Maker” was the last song she wrote and recorded. The intent was always to sing it again sometime, because she was weak and not in good voice at the time. I've done a certain amount of repairs to the vocal track and wish to mention it only in that it was not authorized. The video was shot in our backyard and while not always matching the lyric, hopefully it matches the spirit.

This is great. Linda sent me this song, and you did a good job both in improving the audio and providing a video that fits well. It's been two years now since she passed. She was a special person and a totally unique artist.
