I think there's a version of Bomber everywhere. Though, I can't recall playing one where you could stop the bomb mid-drop.

this has to one of the first games i made for my ZX81 back in the early 80's.. i had a secret key which moved the plane back to the top if it got too low.

I think I need that key. If, not to cheat you understand, just to prove how good my skills are.
I think I've played a few of these. I think Dr Beep even did a 1K one a while back. I know there's definitely a Chroma one out there too, oh look, that's here 😉 I wonder who did this....
