Omg, Lizzy is timeless is she not? A genuine legend in the making. An artist you would say, "That was an experience." Really happy I stumbled across Lizzy's music and this channel in my darkest hours. Her artistry keeps me grounded knowing there is still beauty in the dark.

I assume they give better sound quality than the in ear monitors (total assumption) and maybe the trend for those came very much from wanting to conceal they are being used and also to allow artists to move around without heavy headphones on. If that’s the case, maybe some artists are shifting back to these. Just guessing!
I believe she wanted to set to feel more intimate and casual, recreate the feeling when the album was made in a recording studio. Headphones are also wired and have less connection issues than a wireless set up does.
To be honest, I dont even have to actually listen to Lizzy sing the cover for me to know that she's going to nail it. But then of course I do still listen....
