Learn German through the familiar story of Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, even as a total beginner in German! I'm using super easy and super slow German to tell the story, however, the gestures, drawings and the familiar context will help you to be able to follow the story without having to understand every single word! OMG I visited Germany in summer 2022 and decided i loved the country so much I wanted to learn the language. I found it very difficult to find learning material that appealed to me! This is absolutely brilliant I could watch it and listen all day I think it’s bringing my German on brilliantly. Not sure if I should apologise for being 49 years old!! 😂Truly mesmerising !!

Hi. I suggest that you watch the videos as many times as you want not to analyze the story but just to understand the story more. You could just also watch if you enjoy the story. Thos is what I did when I was learning Spanish from scratch using dreaming spanish- repetitive watching and listening. You don't need to analyze though. Just watch to understand the story, not every single word.

Honestly there is no right or wrong way. Some people prefer to listen to the same story over and over, some prefer more variation. Some of strategies work better for some, worse for others. Find what's best for you!

Hi, can you explain why the mirror replies with the informal plural ihr (ihr seid) instead of informal singular du (du bist), please?
If I'm not mistaken, I think ihr is a dated form for the second person singular, used in fiction - I guess including fairy tales - set in the past to impart a certain formal, antiquated flavour.
Because the mirror is addressing a queen, so it is using the formal form of address.

First of all how old was prince was it legal to date with teen))) and why does the mirror say IHR SEID but not SIE SIND or DO BIST?
To the second part: In old German nobility was addressed with "Ihr" instead of "Sie". You wouldn't hear it in Modern German aside from some very uncommon cases when you address a king or queen or something, maybe. But it is commonly used in stories of the Middle Ages.
