In all the years I lived in Brooklyn & NYC, I never saw or even imagined a dance party on the Williamsburg Bridge. Really cool idea when you think about it. Thanks for the tour!
Footage is more than usable, it is FLAWLESS. I know you love doing these raw edits, but your clips would be so amazing thrown into well edited videos. That Japan trip edit you made was a work of art.
Beautiful footage, you continue to capture the ambience of a place and its people. There’s much less night cycling footage available so I definitely support any offering of yours!
Hahaha... I've been there a few weeks ago (Riding NYC for a week). The *Crispy* crew does a lot of pop-up techno parties there. It's rad! (If you pay attention next time you pass... you will spot a Bicycle Michael's sticker)
I exactly know this feeling meeting a rave on a bridge. When I was living in Berlin I sometimes met up in some raves at night cycling. Once I've played Beer-Pong until 4AM with strangers. What a great time.
Only in New York. Night footage looks great! Also - I should send Geoff a little care package to thank him for saving my ass at Nutmeg by fixing my brakes.
Whatever you was expecting that night, throw it out the window. Pleasant surprises and blessings in disguise that video! Still wanna do a ride with you in Cleveland to the Rock and Roll Hall of fame!
Video is great (as ever). I've a question, though. Where does the outro line on your videos come from (and now, we bring to a close...etc). Did a search for it, got no results
Is Geoff's bike's light one of those German StVZO lights that point to the ground to avoid blinding oncoming cars? The way you collected the mike and managed to turn into the bike lane without stopping shows good one-handed riding skills.
New York and low light? Nah. xD This footage is breathtaking. Makes me want to take the next flight or get into filming myself. Thank you for pumping out quality videos out all these years.
Man they are all in shorts in the nighttime in NY city. I was out cycling in England last night and it got to 2C (just above freezing). Thankfully no wind or rain :)
Beautiful footage, looked like a nice chilled ride. Speaking of chilled, how in the hell are people still walking around in shorts and t-shirt in November? I clearly live in the wrong place!
That's beautiful, man. The thing I like the most is riding at night, and the video is giving a lot of the vibe, only lacks the cool breeze haha. You should do this next time you go to Japan, the cities there are the prettiest at night. I would also encourage you to do some livestreeming at night on Saturdays or something, you see a lot of fun and weird stuff around, like the people at the bridge. These things are nice to watch, give a sensation of what's like being in the city. I can't afford NY, so I'm counting on you 😂
I don't even get that quality on a still frame with my DSLR without crazy exposure time or crazy amount of noise. That is insane! While we can see a bit of shimmering, I'd say it pleasant and almost look like film grain. The only thing that does look a bit strange is red or orange light source (from cars or traffic lights), they look blown off. Mind you, not the diffuse of these lights, only the source (point light). Really like the section on the bridge with all these light and shadow separation. In fifty years, they'll look at this footage to see how people in the 2020s lived, just like we do with footage of the 1920s.
haha, i like cycling passing through towns/cities at night as often pick up the party atmosphere. And the lights can be stunning visually as here. Adds to the ride, variety is the spice guys. Then can be away on your own in the countryside in no time but still with the beat of the city throbbing in your soul.

Glad you enjoyed it

The rides with ambient music are the best
I like it raw.
keep it raw. it's more immersive & intimate.
Its Osmo Pocket 3, the new one, for sure.

🔥 Started going to work using my bike since 2 weeks ago. This channel is motivating me. Thx !
You nailed it! The setup is finally perfect. So excited to see more from this rig!
it's amazing to have this quality of video and sound in such an environment, insanely difficult. Thanks Terry!
I love cities at night! Also night rides off road! Thanks for bringing us such high quality night cycling videos. Few others seem to do this.

Can you share lens / aperture you were running? Think it's your Sony FX3 right?

Films like Terry's are a classic example of why people around the world love America and especially NYC.
Summer nights in New York seem like a nice time
A random party in the middle of a bridge? Sounds awesome
That bridge party was the most new york thing 😂
Night rides are the best. Great footage. Rave on the bridge. More of that good stuff. yessir

Pulling up on that rave was nuts

Beautiful footage, looked like a nice chilled ride. Speaking of chilled, how in the hell are people still walking around in shorts and t-shirt in November? I clearly live in the wrong place!
lol. I saw that Williamsburg brdg rave from a totally random IG account not too long ago. Nighttime camera performance was amazing.
it's crazy

what camera do you shoot with?
when are you coming to Portugal?
What gage gear do you guys usually use? Seems like you pick up speed quick from a stop. Love your videos!
This channel is the best “street photography” ever created
footage looks great! wow. so cool that you found a little dance party on the bridge. nyc shit

What happened to all of the red lights? Those green rings insiode them?
Got to love the city... party in the middle of the bridge 😄👍
Always gas on your ch. Thanks again man!

Looked fantastic.
High Maintenance ;)
Gorgeous fun. Looks unreal.
great city capture both audio and video
