Hey Kristen, I recently told my parents that I believe I have depression. They thought stuff had been going on, and so they took it well. What was bad that happened was that after a bit of discussing they believed it was because on a small amount of teasing that had been going on at school. This had been going on for about a week, and I have felt this depression for years, and have been suicidal for a few months, but they were insistent that it was this tiny amount of teasing causing it. I don't know what to do, because they believe my serious depression is from something minor, and I have no clue how I should tell them it's more serious. Are you able to help or make a video on this type of issue or on many topics regarding to opening up to loved ones about depression. Thanks.

Borderline personality disorder isn’t exactly like that, it’s more like you love someone and don’t accept that they have flaws and then once you realise those flaws you hate them because you feel like they lied to you about who they are etc

I seem to have several qualities of both and never pit those two together so it just makes me feel like some special brand of crazy. (Sorry I know you don't like that word)
How do you deal with the urges to do a compulsive behavior? I have Trichotillomania and I've been doing really well at not pulling (just by being aware and taking it one minute at a time, with the help of fidget toys of course), today is day 110 since I stopped pulling, but, especially as my hair has grown longer, I still have really bad urges to pull. I was just wondering if there were any tips or tricks that I might not know of, things I could do to make the urges go away/be less severe. I really enjoy your videos, thank you so much for making them.
Can you make a video on how to get over past events for example an event were something draged you really down that you started to get into mager depression and suicidal thoughts?
I was diagnosed with Schizotypal personality disorder, and I've tried to research it but I just can't find much information, it just seems like the cluster A disorders are understudied.
i love your videos so much!! im not sure if you have before but could you talk a bit about telling your therapist youre having suicidal thoughts? ive been seeing a therapist for a few weeks now and i want to tell her about my self harm habits and thoughts of suicide but im afraid to and i dont know how to explain it to her. on another topic, ive been researching a lot about how i act and think and i may have a personality disorder or bipolar disorder. i want to bring this up to my therapist too, but i dont know how.
I was clinically diagnosed with BPD two years ago. I only accepted it about 4mths ago and am fighting tooth and nail to beat it. I was terrified that it changed who I was. It didn't, it just amplified certain traits to the point that I couldn't function.
