Nice video! I bought this same bike much like you, I thought it would be bigger! I have a PL26 and I purchased this because I wanted something to ride sometimes that's a little more nimble, but it is smaller than I expected. Redline says up to 6'3" can ride this, but I'm 6'1" and find myself trying to get some height out of it. The seat is the easy part, but the handlebars are so low. I was hoping I could raise the stem, but it doesn't seem like it's adjustable? Anyway, great video. Plus, now the price is $299! Crazy deal!
Great video! I bought a 2023 model from Planet BMX for $299. I read so many bad reviews about the bars, grips, seat and post. I threw the bars and grips in the garbage and got 8" TNT Retro Race Bars and SE Grips. Since I don't like front load stems I added an SE Narler Stem. I replaced the pivotal seat and post with an SE Flyer Seat and Micro Adjust Seat Post and then added SE chain tensioners. With all the extras it came to $490 including free shipping and I am very happy with the bike.
How does it behave in comperision to a Race BMX? Cause it actualy Is Not really a original Race BMX right? Is the 24" Tire Not to big for good agility and fast cornering?
It’s supposed to be an actual racing bike. I’ve seen a couple videos on UA-cam of guys racing on a pump track and it did great. 24” is just for an adult. I don’t know much about race bikes but I bought this one just to be a cruiser.
I have an mx24 its a great bike but it has major mod room at any bike at thst pricepoint. The bars are near 5 pounds and the solid crank arms are pretty heavy as well. The wheels are pretty much run em till they fold then replace. My rear wheel came untrue and have been having issues with it from the start and even though I have warranty coverage they won't even touch it. I believe i have a manufacturing issue with the hub. They want to argue with me about it and not cover it. =REDLINE= not the same company as it once was being that they have changed ownership 3 times. I'm glad they pulled out of the dept store line because the legacy of the name =REDLINE= did not deserve that fate. I have an old school =REDLINE= 20" and that's the only bike I've ever kept. Concluding, I wish I would have just gotten the DK 24" cruiser I seen at the bike shop for a little more.
I ordered one and my rims came way out of true too. Sucks I was really looking forward to getting into BMX again at 39yrs old. I bought it from JR Bicycles and neither them or Redline seems to care… wish I would have just spent a little more on a better bike…
I came here for the Redline .. I stayed for the Metal!!
im 56 just gonna get one to play on, was national 5 many years ago
I have the exact bike I bought from the same bike shop as you near the end of the pandemic and I love it
$300 now. I’m gonna get one
Sweet bike. I love my redline

You can tell the year of the frame by the serial number on the bottom bracket. I have a black 2021 frame.
How is it holding up? I'm thinking of getting one to get back out on the track at the ripe age of 40+!
Still riding it here and there not on a race track just cruising for exercise, still a great bike.
@@jasonolbinski9333 right on, thanks for the update! 🤙🏼

FYI you can flip that stem to get more handlebar height out of it.
I thought about that, might try it, I think it looks ugly though.
Man. I need a Red Line Flight Crank!
omgggggggggggggg IWANTITNOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
Linda bike
How wide are the tires? I'm just wondering, because my Redline Proline 24" cruiser could fit 24×2.35 tires.
One year later, are youre thoughts still the same as far as having a racing bike as a cruiser? Any complaints?
@@Doggmatic_ I ended up selling it but never any complaints
@jasonolbinski9333 thanks. I'm looking at a 24 racer and hope it works out
