I would highly recommend watching Erin Busbee’s channel. While I can’t afford most of what she talks about, she has introduced me to a lot of high end brands for the over 40 crowd. She would say yes, dickies are in.
Love the video! I just took a bunch of bins stuff to Crossroads on Hawthorne today, they took $99.50 in trade. I got some Good American, Versace, and found the mother load of Johnny Was (which I ended up paying out of pocket for -but still with it!) I love this way of selling and sourcing too!

For the Crossroads items you buy with trade, and then re-sell on Posh, how do you record/calculate the cost of goods on those items? And then, consequently, the profit margin on those items? I’m obviously slow on the uptake cause it hadn’t crossed my mind to take the good clothes to the local consignment places. Lol! I know you’re in PDX too- I take a lot of outdoor brands that I find at the bins (like the Patagonia pants) to the Next Adventure bargain basement. Last time they took my entire bag and gave me $100+ store credit… which quickly translates into a new pair of Birkenstock’s or blundstones there.
Home is definitely so easy to sell on posh and the cost of goods is normally low! I found 2 vintage Halloween mugs that I paid $1.50 for that sold for $55 in less than a week 😊

Do they still do that? maybe I should just say it's my own stuff (even though the sizes are all over the place).
I haven’t encountered that yet! But generally I don’t tell anyone that I am a reseller unless explicitly asked. There are pros and cons to that strategy, but I prefer staying under the radar if possible.
Would you be willing to sell some of the things you plan on taking to crossroads to a fellow viewer/follower? I’m interested in a few pieces you showed to take to crossroads, just thought I’d ask. Love the video!

ThredUp CS told me today that they’re only sending clear out kits and labels to new sellers. I assume you’ve sold to them before, and that what CS told me is incorrect. What do you think?
Back in April, I emailed them asking for 15 labels and they sent them. Those lasted me a little while but I just reached out again and asked for more so we’ll see! I would definitely try again if I were you. I think different people get different responses and it may depend on the rep you get.
It is a buy sell trade store! So you take in clothes and they pay you out in cash or in trade in credit. Similar to Plato’s closet in case you have one of those in your area!

I feel somewhat uneasy about your friendship with another UA-camr/reseller who has some serious transparency and ethical issues. I also wonder what your definition of a "six figure reselling business" is. I enjoy your hauls and BOLO videos! It's wide wale cord!

We've hung out one time & it was on camera, so I probably know her as well as you do. And as far as six figure reselling business, it's usually meant as a reseller who has six figure sales annually. But this year, we also have six figure profitability. Hope that helps clear things up! I'm always curious what people assume about me, so thanks for being willing to share!! 😄

Yes! I bought a vintage Veronica Beard blazer for my self and found a V.B. suit vest NWT today at TJ Maxx FOR $34!!! Retails for $375. So crazy.
