Thanks for doing the only decent review of this boat on UA-cam and talk about all the features.
I agree with your thought on the galley and think this boat is ahead of this time.
It’s also very nice that it’s got a separate day head that’s not an en-suite and that they put the washer and dryer there instead of cramming it into the crew quarters.
It’s like the perfect family boat that you can charter as well.
If I had millions to burn this would be a strong contender!

That particular boat was made for an owner with very specific needs and a small crew. I thought it all works really well as a big family boat. I also like the beach club feel to it. The dealer that represents Delta represent a number of yards in Holland. They have built some fabulous aluminum Superyachts

Fabulous yacht. I think you ought to check the navigation requirements regarding navigation inland from Northern Europe through to the the Med. though.

How strong is carbon fiber compared to Fiberglass? I only ask because I was wondering if they couldn't make all the windows larger? Or maybe they were just trying to save weight?

howmuch weght does it save ?

I would expect around 20 percent over standard fibreglass layup. It is also way stiffer so doesn’t require internal bulkheads as part of the structure. So more internal hull volume

@@thebritishboatguy3130 Wow that is . . worth notmuch for 8million . . which is much expensive around 4milion than the typical monohull of that size

@@duckhorn depends what you want. You can easily spend that much on Viking 72. Very little around with that much speed and efficiency. The new Grand Banks 85 is around the same price, similar build.

What is the range of this boat at (say) 6 or 8 or 10 knots? Can it be used as a passage-maker?

    • @thebritishboatguy3130

You would need to check with Delta. I would expect as the Delta is a planing hull, not displacement or semi displacement along with the large engines. A trans-continental range is not part of its repertoire. However I would expect 450 miles plus at that speed.

Specs say at 13km/h it will do 4500km with 5500 litres.
